Backstory: Born just before the destruction and loss of Planet Sadala the young Aspara did her part in the saiyan invasion, capture and colonisation of Planet Tuffle to turn it into Planet Vegeta.
Not too many years later she met Leri, a noncombatant saiyan who dealt with and cared for the babies who grew within rearing capsules. Often as love does, it soon bloomed with the two of them and "they" fostered a baby saiyan girl, her real parents probably dead on some mission.
Often as love does, it began to die between the two. Aspara was out on more and more missions after the Cold regime was passed to Frieza. The two argued, they fought, the battled hardened saiyan disappointed with the measly power level the baby seemed to be stuck on.
So... she left on another mission, ignoring a recall message assuming it was sent by Leri in some attempt to convince her the baby wasn't going to be a weakling. Then she hot another message "Planet Vegeta had been destroyed by a rogue asteroid."
For years after she went from Planet to planet, taking on any jobs or requests she could find, not really having a purpose anymore. Despite how their relationship soured near the end she missed Leri, she missed the unnamed baby they had called their own...
Maybe one day, when she dies and after years and years in hell, she'll be allowed to the see the two again. Until then though, all she has is the path ahead of her and endless fights to be had.
