"MJ!"

MJ and I share a look.

We both run to a balcony that overlooks the river.

"GWEN! NED!"

Ned runs behind us as aw look over to see Peter on the shield that has  ended up in the water.

"Peter! Hey!"

MJ waves her arms about  to show Peter where we are at.

"You okay?"

"We're okay!"

My mom then joins us as she stares at Peter.

Peter looks at her confused before his attention is brought back to The Goblin.

I then notice The Goblin next to him on the shield.

Here we go.

"I gotta help him"

"What?"

Ned turns to me confused.

"Peter is weak he can't take The goblin by himself!"

"And what are you going to do?"

"I don't know, I'lll..."

I look around before finding a piece of the scaffolding.

A small bar.

"Use this"

"Gwen maybe we should let Peter handle this"

"Ned I know how to fight. I fought people when Peter blipped so I can do this." 

"Gwen tell me you didn't"

"What?"

"Did I  not mention that?"

"Gwen I  don't think this is the best idea"

"Who did you fight? Is this why you came home bruised?"

"Mom not the time"

"Gwen when this is over you are so grounded"

"You're grounding me for saving the world?"

"You bet your ass I am young lady"

"I'm still confused"

 Ned raises his hand like a kid in class.

We all turn to face him.

"Who exactly did you fight? Did you fight people like Captain America? Aliens?"

"Oh god no, I'm not crazy.It was just minor bad guys. Like robbers and gangs things like that"

"And you didn't think to tell us that?"

"I didn't think it mattered."

"I am pretty sure it does matter! You became some badass assassin during the blip and we turned to dust"

My mom glared at Ned.

"sorry"

"In my defence you were gone for 5 years. Back when I  was like 5 years younger than you. I was 12  guys.  I felt alone. I was about to join junior high and I had no one to talk to. People said you guys left me and hated me. You guys were my best friends, my only friends. I  needed to do something!"

I wave my arms about, frantically.

"I  didn't want to sit there and do nothing, knowing  Peter would have  been out there saving the world, no questions asked. Or town in his usual case(murmur)."

Ned and MJ nod, along with me.

Knowing I am right.

"So I  thought maybe I  should step up. Become Spider-Gwen or something. Someone needed to step up and  defend our town... so here I am defending our town. Well , world--universe--S--All of them."
