A sudden knock is on my door.

"Come in"

The door opens,  as my dad walks in.

"Hey, you packed yet? I can help you move into your dorm?"

I smile, spinning  in my chair to face him.

"Almost. Just got a few more to do"

"What's that you're watching?"

I turn to my computer as more scenes play out.

"Just a documentary I think. Nothing major"

Dad nods at me before turning to MJ.

"Hey Miss Jones"

"Mr stacey. How are you? Keeping well?"

"I am thanks for asking. I'm glad you're going to be there for Gwen for college. Gwen can be a bit difficult "

"Dad!"

"(laughter) I'm kidding! Sometimes"

"God you're so annoying"

"But you love me anyways"

I look at him weirdly as i have a wave of Deja vu hit me.

I shake my head before I get up pulling my dad into a hug which he returns.

"I don't want to hear on the news that you got--"

"Dad! Come on, who do you take me for?"

My dad gives me a look, which I roll my eyes at.

"It's okay, I'll keep her out of trouble Mr Stacey"

My dad smiles at MJ before turning to leave.

"Let me know if you need my help moving your boxes to your dorm"

I watch my dad leave.

"Your dad is cool"

I can't help but smile.

He really is.

"Hey Gwen when did you take this picture?"

"What you mean?"

I turn to MJ to see her picking up something from my floor, by my bed.

"What is that?"

"I was hoping you would know"

MJ passes it to me and I take it.

It's a polaroid.

Taken from an old film camera.

I can't remember who gave me it?

I turn one of the polaroids around to look at the picture.

My eyebrows furrowed together as I see myself smiling.

I had the brightest smile on my face and I looked like I was in a daze.

I don't even remember taking this.

And why do I look so lost as if I am just staring into space?

"Did you take this picture?"

MJ shakes her head.

"Must've been Ned"

"Seriously?  You think Ned took this?"

"I don't know who else could have!"
