You were around him all the time after the first meeting, but for the sake of length I'll explain what being stuck with him was like.
It was unfortunate that you had become a conjurer and the first thing you got stuck to was Ging.
It was however your own fault for deciding to use it against a human target like ging instead of something more tolerable.
Like a mosquito.
Ging took it as an opportunity to get closer with him, and took it as a compliment.
Before coming to that conclusion he was confused as to why you'd use a chain on him.
"Y'know, if you wanted to be with me like this all you had to do was ask after you find me and I'd say yes."
"I wanted you to fall in the ocean. I didn't want to torment myself."
It was an effort to get him to leave, and instead you were stuck with him until you could find out a way to release it.
It was a long. Horrible. Process that ended in him taking you out.
