Irene has just arrived at her company.
She was still feeling uneasy about the situations that she was feeling right now.
"Good Morning Ms. Irene" Her employees said
Irene just smiled slightly and entered her elevator.
"Good Morning Ms. Irene! May bisita po pala kayo" Her new secretary said
"Who?" She asked
Her secretary was about to answer when Irene's phone suddenly rang.
She immediately answers her phone because it was from her most awaited call.
"Hello?" Irene said
She was about to enter her office when the doctor's word made Irene frozed.
"Ma'am, it's confirmed" The doctor said
Irene bit her lower lip to make sure that it's not a dream.
"C-confirm? Are you sure?" Irene asked, and started to twist her door knob
She doesn't want everyone to hear their conversation, especially that she made it a secret.
Just when she successfully entered her office, her eyes were mesmerized.
"It's 99.9% po, you know what I mean don't you?" The doctor explained
Irene wasn't able to utter a single word because she was looking at the person in front of her.
"U-uhm Ms. Irene meron po palang dumating na delivery po sainyo" The young woman shyly said
"I'm sorry po pala if i'm here pero I guess they have already forgot na hindi nyo na po ako secretary" She added and gave to Irene the envelope
Irene wasn't able to focus on what the young woman just said because she was still on the call.
"She's your daughter Mrs. Araneta" The doctor added
"H-have you already double checked?" Irene whisperingly asked
"P-po?" The young woman was confused
She thought that Irene was talking to her.
"Yes, the 13 years of thinking that your daughter has already died really didn't die. Your daughter is alive Mrs. Araneta. Ms. Celestine is alive" The doctor added
After the phone call ended, Irene immediately faced the young woman.
"S-saan to galing?" Irene calmly asked
She was trying to hold down her tears.
"It's from your lawyer po" She respectfully answered
Irene gladly accepted the envelope and started to open it.
"Your annulment has been approved na po" She uttered
When Irene heard those words, she suddenly frozed.
On the other hand, the young woman immediately held her hand.
She's already been attached to Irene and she understands what she's feeling right now.
"You've waited 13 years Ms. Irene at alam kong hindi po madali. You're now already annulled pero sana magkabalikan pa rin po kayo. Both of you are now on good terms and I know that you still love him. Hindi pa po huli ang lahat" She advised
Irene was just silent while looking at the paper.
Few minutes later the young woman looked at her watch.
"U-uhm by the way I have to go na po" She said
Irene wasn't able to hear what Iris said because her mind was already blank.
"G-good bye tita, I hope I could see you again" She whispered, and left
The young woman became Irene's secretary for 5 months because she's an OJT employee.
Both of them got close to each other to the fact that Irene already considers her as her own daughter.
Sadly, her family decided to flee from a different country for their own sake.
"C-celestine" Irene uttered
She is now back at her senses.
Iris wasn't able to hear those words, and just continued to enter the elevator.
Unbeknownst that Greggy and Imee have also arrived at Irene's company.
"Gregorio ayusin mo na to, huwag kang papayag na masira ulit yung pamilya nyo" Imee said
Greggy just nodded
When both of them successfully enter the elevator, on the other hand Iris had already gotten out from the other one.
"Irene!" Both Greggy and Imee said
They saw Irene repeatedly pressing the buttons of the elevator.
"M-manang, si Celestine, she's alive. Celestine is alive" Irene said while tears were starting to flow on her cheeks
"Where are you going? Celestine is already dead. Have you already forgotten?" Imee replied
Irene wasn't able to catch on the elevator, because Imee stopped her.
"Let's just talk about this later. I have to follow her" She said and started taking the stairs
When Greggy saw Irene, he didn't hesitate to follow her.
Even though they are already annulled, he still cares for her.
"Irene!" He said
Irene looked at her back to which made greggy stop.
"Gregorio we're already annulled, kaya kung pipigilan mo lang ako dapat wala ka ng pakialam. Hindi na tayo mag-asawa!" She bursted
Greggy held Irene's hand as he repeatedly shooking his head.
"I'm not here to stop you Irene" He calmly said
Irene didn't mind his words and just continued to walk.
"I still love you Irene!" He shouted
