After the incident, Imelda dropped Irene from her company.
"Are you really sure with this? Do you want me to accompany you?" Imelda asked
"No need ma, you need to rest" Irene replied after getting out of the car
"Okay but make sure to go home early" Imelda reminded
Irene nodded and bid her goodbyes to Imelda.
As she walks towards the building along with her guards, she was then respectfully greeted by her employees.
"Magandang Tanghali po Ms. Irene!" They all exclaimed
She didn't respond and continued to enter the elevator.
Irene just went back from her usual routine as if nothing happened.
As the elevator doors opened to her floor, Irene stepped out and made her way.
"Good Morning Ms. Irene" Emma, her front desk officer has formally also greeted
Irene stopped her tracks, shifting her gaze towards Emma.
"Prepare her resignation, I want you to find another one" Irene said
"Noted Ms. Irene" Emma replied, she already knew what her boss meant
When Irene has successfully entered her office, she then saw her secretary kneeling in front of her.
She was the one who repeatedly calling her in the middle of the performance after forgetting to reschedule all of her meetings.
"M-ms. Irene. I'm really sorry po, I was finishing up some paperworks, nawala po sa isip ko." Her secretary has said
Irene was looking at her intensely.
"Then? Didn't you forgot the contract before becoming my employee?" Irene reminded
The secretary's face turned pale, realizing her mistake.
Irene might be her true self whenever she was with her mother, but deep inside, she knew that it was already gone.
After the incidents that had occurred in her life, Irene had come to the realization that she needed to change. She had been deeply affected by what had happened, and it had caused her to reevaluate her priorities and values.
"I'm really really sorry Ms. Irene, hinding hindi na po ito mau-ulit" Her secretary answered, while her voice was trembling
Irene continued to walk towards her desk passing through her secretary who was kneeling on the floor.
"One mistake, and you're out. That's my number one rule," she exclaimed as she started opening the folder that she needed to read.
The secretary remained kneeling on the floor, feeling the weight of Irene's words and the fear of losing her job.
"You can now prepare leaving Ms. Cruz. This is your last day" Emma informed after entering the office
The secretary's eyes widened in shock as she heard Emma's words.
"The decision has been made. You have already violated our trust and we cannot afford to have someone like you on our team," Irene stated, remaining firm and unyielding
The secretary could feel the tears welling up in her eyes as she processed the news.
"I-i understand, Ms. Irene. B-but please? I will definitely try my best" She pleaded
Irene looked at her.
"Emma?" She reminded
"Please stand up Ms. Cruz, you really need to leave" Emma quickly responded
