"you nervous?" i looked over at dj as he chuckled.

"no.." i furrowed my eyebrows. "why you think that?"

"it's the way you lookin around shordy." he asked as we sat in front of his house, we had just got here.

"oh..i'm just not familiar with the neighborhood, that's all." i shrugged and he nodded.

"cmon." he took the keys out and hopped out the car as i did the same.

walking behind him we stepped up to his porch and he took the house key that was attached to his car keys and unlocked the door.

"waddup d." there was a group of guys in the living room where clouds of smoke that filled the area.

i rubbed over my arm and looked at them.

i should've stayed home.

"wassup y'all." he nodded at them before looking at me. "these my homeboys."
