(Benja's POV, 10 months later):
"Did it finally work?!" I asked Jerome, who faithfully served with me throughout this whole thing. Here's my process to bring Betty to life:
1. Extract some pure diamond extract from the center of the axe
2. Put the axe into a smaller chamber, connected to another machine
3. Put the extract into the other chamber, connected to the body chamber.
I turned on the machine. It whirred and fizzed out, as the chamber had just begun to glow, then went out. "It almost worked out that time, Biggums!!"
"FUCK IT, FUCK EVERYTHING! IT WILL NEVER WORK!" I screamed. 10 months, and I have NOTHING to show for it. I started hitting stuff, putting major dents in everything, then it happened...It caught on fire. "FIRE! GET OUT!" It spread faster than anything I've ever seen. I hit the gas chamber, and it busted into an electrical socket. Hallie, Kass, Ryan, and the gang ran out into the main hall with us, me over Jerome's shoulder. "What the hell was that, Mitch?!" Kass screamed. "IT WILL NEVER WORK! I didn't mean to start the fire..." He started crying, and Ryan chirped in. "I called in the fire people and it should be out soon, if that helps. "T-thanks buddy." Mitch said, sniffling.
