Safe and Sound

Part 15

Ally's POV

Today was going great James and I were just having an us day. Watching a bunch of movies playing guitar hero which I was totally kicking butt at. It's times like these where I forget about absolutely everything that was happening I even forgot about what happened the night before.. that is until I got that one text.

Vin: Me you hang out please?

Ally: I can't sorry with James

Vin: Ally...

Ally: Vin seriously I can't maybe later.

Vin: But it's important I really need my best friend

Ally: Where are you?

Vin: River.

Ally: Who are you with?!

Vin: Myself.

Ally: Give me 10 min don't do anything stupid okay?!

Vin: I wont. But you better hurry. You know just in case.

I can't believe this he is so stubborn I didn't want to leave James we were having an amazing time I didn't want it to end. It was making up for leaving him yesterday to go with Vin. Because of his little incident I seriously hope it was going to go back to normal really soon because I didn't want to leave James because Vin needs me.

20 minutes later

Vin: Ally it's been 20 minutes where are you.

Ally: Please Vin can we just do this another night?!

Vin: Whatever Allz I'll just go drink with the guys

Ally: Don't even start Vin okay

Vin: I'm just saying Ally

I couldn't let him go drink hell I couldn't go through what I did last night that was way to much to handle and having to do that again for another night.. Nope wasn't going to happen.

"James I'm tired and I have a headache.. I think I'm gonna go to bed I had a really fun day babe.."

"Want me to stay with you tonight?" he asked me. As much as I wanted him to stay I had to say no...

"No babe its kinda...yeah..."

"That makes no sense Ally..." He told me

"Babe I'm on my period I'm not in the mood for anymore company please don't take it personal... you just know I get cranky and yeah sorry..."

"You don't need to say anymore babe I get it.. and yeah I kinda don't want to get my head ripped off for saying something that pisses you off" he said sarcastically

"Thanks for understanding babe I'll see you tomorrow though right?" I asked him.

"Yes of course babe" he told me as he pecked my lips. "I'll see you later babe" he said as he left my room. There I go again lying to him this had to stop I waited about five minutes and I jumped out of my bed and ran out to my car and drove to the river only to find Vinny sitting on the docks. Then I saw the unexpected.. he pushed himself off the docks. I ran out of my car screaming at the top of my lungs. I wasn't the best swimmer and especially at this river I was terrified of the river all the stories of people that died there because the currents pulled them under but this was my best friend and I just jumped off the docks after him finding him and yanking him up. I gasped for air as I grabbed the dock with one hand and had Vin on the other.

"What the hell were you thinking you are fucking insane you could've been pulled under are you freaking shitting me I just risked my life going after your crazy ass Vincent c'mon seriously." I screamed at him.

He just smiled at me and pulled himself on top of the dock. He just sat there like a fucking dumbass I wanted to beat the shit out of him.

"That's it I'm done okay I just risked my life to save you and you just smile like a dumbass and not say anything that really pisses me off Vin" I was honestly on the verge of tears and I was freezing I even started to shake I was so cold and of all the anger that was building up inside of me but Vin just pulled me in and gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "Thanks for coming who knows what would have happened if you didn't show up." I felt his lips kiss my forehead I didn't fight him off I was just so glad my best friend was okay.

"You scared me almost to death Vin. I- I thought I lost you" my voice was starting to break and I couldn't help it I was going to start crying.

"I'm sorry All I wasn't thinking I was getting desperate" he told me in a hushed tone.

"I-I j-just don't k-know wha-at I would--" my words got cut off my Vins words.

"Shhhh everything is okay now your safe I'm safe" he just held me in his arms

"I don't know what I would've done if I would have lost you Vin." I told him

"Let's not talk about that right now Ally c'mon let's get you home." he told me and with that we got in my car and drove back to my house.
