*Siera's POV*
"You are not in Kansas anymore, you are on Pandora, ladies and gentlemen," I hear someone say as I walk inside with Jake wheeling up behind me and Alex at my side. I take off my pack and place it at my feet as I watch a man with graying hair, a scar on the right side of his head almost disappearing into his hair and an attitude and aura of a Colonel speak. "Respect that fact. Every second of every day. If there is a hell, you might want to go there for some R&R after a tour on Pandora. Out there, beyond that fence, every living thing that crawls, flies or squats in the mud wants to kill you and eat your eyes for Jujubes. We have an indigenous population of humanoids called the Na'vi. They're fond of arrows dipped in a neurotoxin that will stop your heart in one minute. And they have bones reinforced with naturally occurring carbon fiber. They are very hard to kill. As head of security, it is my job to keep you alive. I will not succeed. Not with all of you. If you wish to survive, you need to cultivate a strong mental attitude. You've got to obey the rules. Pandora rules."
I blink my eyes as I listen closely to the Col. speak, but for some reason, I am getting bad vibes from him. It's almost like listening to an old school safety brief to put your mind at ease, but not for me. Not in this case. I just don't feel safe around him, I don't know why.
A/N: Shortie, I know, but when you're following the movie, you have short chapters, and you got long chapters. The next chapter will have the avatars getting introduced, followed by Max Patel and Norm Spellman. Remember, I only own my OC, and Avatar belongs to James Cameron. Alex belongs to someone I'm Rping with. I might incorporate some scenes that will be of my own making to make the chapters that are short longer, if you guys want me to.
