A/N: Alright, tenth chapter, here we go!! Crap, I'm on a roll today!! Like, really. I love this movie so much, sometimes, I feel like I'm on Pandora sometimes. You guys know the gist, I don't own anything, except for my OC, a friend I'm Rping with owns Alex, so yeah. Most of these next chapters will probably be short, I don't know. But I will do original chapters in between, just bear with me. Let's go!!
(Siera's POV)
I can hear creatures chittering all around me as I stand next to Alex and Jake, watching Jake as he takes the stick he had earlier, wrapping it in his shirtsleeves he had torn off then dipping it in tree sap as I hear the creatures again. Alex flicks his tail at me, and we keep walking a bit, staying close to Jake. Ever since he kissed me back at the base, I haven't spoken to him. It was accidental of course, but I don't know what to expect next. I don't know how I am able to act around him either. Then, I hear a match being lit, and I turn as Jake lights the stick aflame and I hear growls.
I turn to see six legged creatures with black skin and glowing green eyes, their six legs moving in fluid motion as they bare their teeth and snarl. They're nantangs, or viperwolves. Great. Another predator we have to deal with. Their chittering and growling fills my ears as Jake turns his head, swinging the torch like some maniac. I blink rapidly.
"I don't have all goddamn night," Jake says, impatient. "Come on!" He yells as one of the viperwolves leaps for him. He swings the torch then, hitting the viperwolf hard across the stomach and sending it to the ground with a cry. For some reason, I feel pain from this and I want to cry out, make him stop hurting these creatures, but I can't. Instead I watch another viperwolf is hit back by Jake's torch, only for another to snap close to his face, making him drop the torch. I watch in horror as he pulls out his combat knife and slashes at the viperwolf, making it whimper and cry out. Another one knocks him to the ground and climbs on top of him, snapping in his face as he struggles. Alex is about to join in when we see it: an arrow in the viperwolf that Jake almost got killed by. We blink, looking up.
A/N: Another shortie!!!!! Welp, guess who's in play now!!!!! I am on a roll with these updates though. I'm very proud of myself really. See you in the next chapter!!
