Dazai became a good boss for port mafia. Chuuya and Dazai's relationship went well as both now know how to treat each other better. Emiko's words are still fondly remembered by Dazai but kept a secret. Chuuya kept on pestering Dazai to tell him what she said but Dazai refused. Emiko was happily living in the sky. As her ability did not allow her to go to heaven or hell. She just watched everyone cheerfully from up above.
I guess Dazai being mean wasn't that bad after all. There was a great ending too!
