"Mona? W-why are you laughing?" Mona looked up from her phone to see Sucrose. Ah, shit. I forgot I was at the hospital. "Sorry, I was just messaging another friend." Mona said. It's true. But I hope Sucrose doesn't figure out the 'friend' I'm talking about is Scaramouche... He wouldn't like it. "Oh, okay!" she said, smiling.

Sucrose POV:
I'm in the lab with Mister Albedo. He's muttering something about how stupid this adventurer named Royce was, to mix potassium and water together, saying how 'he wanted to make mixtures for adventuring that could help keep people safe' but ended up creating an explosion.
"Mister Albedo? I think we're okay now. I've prepared everything we need for one night at the lab camp in Dragonspine." I say to him, tapping his shoulder lightly. Dragonspine is a town past the lake at the edge of Springvale, and also a kilometer or so away from the dawn winery. It's very cold there, and there's a lab camp to study something called "the heart of Durin" belonging to some evil dragon, or something. "Sucrose, let's go." Albedo calls to me. I grab my backpack and run over to him. "Alright, I'm ready."
We have arrived in Dragonspine. I'm helping Mister Albedo when I see someone near a cave... I run over and bring him to our camp. "Are you okay sir?" I ask him. But he doesn't look at me. All he looks at is the fire. "Ah-" He pushes me over. I'm okay, and I get up, but immediately fall into a deep hole near our camp. I hadn't put out the safety cones around the area yet, so I fall into the hole. A heart wrenching pain fills my body, and I cannot move my legs. It hurts so much... I bite my lip from trying not to cry. "MISTER ALBEDO! HELP!" I yell with my remaining energy. The last thing I hear is Mister Albedo screaming my name and running towards the hole.

Narrator POV
"Well, I need to get going," Mona said. "I'm meeting Noelle after this. She's teaching me to make tea break pancakes."
That's it! Mona thought. I'm going to learn to make something other than salad and sell it, to make money! She thought. Then, I can return to my old school!
Immediately, she ran out the door.
