•Y/n POV•

As I'm sitting in the corner of the room elvis was getting ready for 'The Ed Sullivan Show' when the colonel wheeled in a clothes rack. It had suits with TAILS on them.

Elvis slowly glanced back at me with a worried glare. I returned the look.

"Whats all this?" Elvis asked.

"The new and improved Elvis!" Tom Parker said with a cheery tone.

"I-I cant move in this, colonel." Elvis said, worried.

"Ah! That is the point!" The colonel said with his accent unfamiliar to me.

Elvis began to head on the stage.

"And we have a special surprise for you!!" Ed exclaimed.

His back stage crew brought on an actual hound dog. A. Dog.

As I was sitting in the front row of the crowd watching. Elvis gave me a 'what the hell' kind of look. I have no idea what is going on. I wish I knew. I feel so bad for Elvis.

I could see him begin to sweat. Beads of water fell down his forehead gently.

As the music started and he began to sing.

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine

Well, they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Yeah, they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Yeah, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine

Well, they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Yeah, they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine

Well, they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Ya know they said you was high-classed
Well, that was just a lie

Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
And you ain't no friend of mine

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog
Cryin' all the time

Well, you ain't never caught a rabbit
You ain't no friend of mine

You ain't nothin' but a hound dog

Elvis was polite to Ed once the song ended, of course, but he hurried his way out.

"What the hell was that?!" Elvis' band mate yelled.

"WHY DIDN'T THEY TELL ME?!" Elvis screamed, ripping his jacket off his body. "I could've made a bit out of it!"

He walked over and sat down with me. I tried to calm him down by rubbing his back gently before he jumped up again.

"That was the most embarrassing moment of my career!" He screamed.

His band mates looked so tired. They looked dead at one point. I felt horrible for everyone in this room. Except for Tom Parker. He knew what he was doing to my boys.

Karma was going to come for him.

Elvis finally looked over to me. I gave him a look of empathy. I could see the tears begin to prick his eyes painfully.

"Hey fellas? Me 'n Elvis are gonna head outside for a breathe of fresh air. Make sure you drink some h2o." I said calmly.

"I'm sorry." I said to Elvis with my head down, once we sat on a bench in front of the recording studios building.

"Why would the colonel do that to me?" Elvis said sulking, with a frown.

"I have no idea, but... he's not a good person Elvis." I said.

"Don't you say that, Little One." He sternly said, standing up.

"He is like a father to me!" He started to raise his voice at me. I knew that he was just upset, not at me. At the world, honestly.

"Elvis do not yell at me. You're not you right now." I said to him.

"I AM TRYING!" He shouted at me.

I began to walk inside the building, I wasn't going to tolerate him treating me like this.

I suddenly felt a soft hand grab my wrist as I opened the door.

I felt a body wrap around me gently. It was Elvis.

I felt him begin to cry, sob even...

"Elvis I'm so sorry that this happened to you, is there anything I can do?" I asked him?

He lifted his head from the crook in my neck.

"I just want a hug, Darlin'."

"Of course."

I'll always be there for him.
