I was thrown into the pit of darkness.

There is nothing to see.

I was thrown into the midst of heartbreak.

There is nothing to enjoy.

I was thrown into the war of hate.

There is no escape.

I was thrown into the heart of fear.

There is no safety here.

I see no comfort, just loss of effort.

I'm trying! I'm trying! I am so desperately trying!

I am screaming! I am screeching! Please tell me I'm only dreaming.

This world is crushing me.

Their ways are so unreal.

Their thoughtlessness is to legitimate.

Please, don't make me a participant.

But I was thrown into this fallen world.

And I was given a chance,

To maybe enhance,

Their stance,

At this tangled dance.
