Greed

I'm greedy.

I want more.

I want more of everything that I adore.

I want it in portions,

and yet all at once.

I want to have it without breaking the ocean.

I want all of the mystery,

but I want to have clues.

I don't want to live a life

walking in someone's shoes.

I want it all because it's great.

I want to worship the feat that it has made.

I want it all because life is so difficult.

I want it to make life more simple.

I want it to take away my pain.

Lost in the awe.

Not lost in the wake. 

I wish you understood why I have this greed.

Yet, know, I won't act upon it.

This is my only deed.
