some people say you don't always need closure
from the people who walk out of your lives
without making a sound.
but I disagree.
since the last time I heard from you
the number of days has gotten bigger
and so has this little thought bubble in my head
that wonders if it was me who made you go,
and if it was something I said
that finally pushed you away.
