You were curled up on the bed, sobbing quietly, hugging yourself protectively and hoping the monster behind you will leave you alone.

He'd never being so cruel with you, and maybe that's what led you to let your guard down and scream "I hate you!" At him with venom he'd never seen before. It made him furious, red eyes seeing only red, consciousness only returning when you were sat on his lap, crying so hard you couldn't breath.

Maybe he'd gone over broad, but what's done is done and you should get over it. he was hoping you would, but you haven't stopped sobbing ever since he put you on the bed, nor have you spoken a word to him. Now he was sat beside you on the bed, your lunch with him, your favorite soup with some other things because he wants you to remember that even though he punished you, he still loves you.

In reality, through his scowl and behind his glare, he was desperate for you to relay on him in your sadness, seeing you broken breaks him too.

"Please just—stop crying." He tried for the thousandth time. He sighed, putting your lunch on the nightstand.

He reached out to pet your head, but you scooted away from him, making his heart clench. He persisted however, until you let him do as he please. Eventually, he felt your sob being reduced to a mere sniffle, and then a snore.

He laid down and hugged your sleeping form. As long as you found comfort in him one way or another, he's happy. You can have your soup after you wake up.
