The others were talking at the front door while I climbed into the trunk of a Cadillac that Wichita used to drive here.
They started walking over then Tal threw his bag beside me then Col and Witchita. Tal gave me a quick kiss on the head before walking to the front of the car.
Wichita sat in the backseat, Col in the passenger, and of course Tal in the drivers.
We could all see Maddison coming out of the house, struggling with her bags.
"Oh there she is" Col said
"Yeah, let's just leave Columbus's girlfriend" Wichita said, mimicking Madison's voice.
I snickered while Columbus just shook his head and Tal smirked.
"*Sigh* a mini van, nice" she said while smiling a little
"Hiii" Maddison said to me while waving
I waved back then she tried to put her suitcase in the trunk but could barley lift it.
"Can you help me?" She asked me
I sighed and was about to get out but Tallahassee stopped me.
"No no wait, hun I got it" he got out and came to the back
"It's really heavyy" Maddison said while slumping her shoulders.
"No problem" he said
"Thank you"
"You go ahead" he told her and she got in the back seat with Witchita
He turned to me and put his finger up to his mouth while whispering 'shh' then closed the trunk, leaving the bags outside
I chuckled and watched him get back in the drivers seat.
"So how did you guys meet?" Maddison asked
"It's complicated" Witchita said
"We met at a mall" Col said while pointing at Maddison
"I was living there..like dawn of the dead"
"Uh hey remind me, when we first met did you point a gun at me and steal my car?"
"Noo, when we first met..I told you you were really smart.."
"Oh yeah" Col said
"And then I slept with you!" She laughed
"Yeah that's right" he nodded his head while smiling a little
"*Sigh* Alright let's go, this is gonna be a looongg trip" Tal said while starting the car
"Road trip, here we go!" Maddison said
I moved Tal's bag to be under my head then I moved some of the other bags around so I could have space and I laid down.
*5 minutes later*
"I just wanna say it's nice to have other, women..around" Maddison whispered the women part
"Yeah...good to talk about, relationships..recipes-" Witchita got cut off
"Rings!" Maddison whisper yelled
"Oh my...Oh my gosh" Witchita said
"Oh.." Col said
"I know! I found it in the bedside drawer" Maddison said
I got curious so I sat up and looked over the seat. Maddison was wearing the ring Col proposed to Witchita with.
"I think it belonged to the first lady or.."
