Hello!
This isn't going to be always a light and fluffy story, because I like writing about the trials of all people, the times where one is so strucken by grief they are unable to even get up, and the times where it seems the universe wants them to keel over and die. Not that dramatic, but y'know(edit: it was kind of fluffy, whoops).
That's not to say I won't pity my characters sometimes and give them peace occasionally. I will, don't worry. I just think that realistically- in the worlds I write about- there would lots of grief. In my opinion, PJO and HP somewhat gloss over the absolute trauma the characters would have. Heroes of Olympus is good at it. Harry Potter needs to step it's game up in more ways than one. I also like making sure my characters are flawed people. Adrienne in particular will demonstrate this.
