Jonah's Pov

The ride back to the studio surprisingly isn't too bad.

I kind of had an idea that this session was gonna be a good while.

"Everything all good?" Jack questions

"Yeah, she's just tired. She's had a long day. I didn't want her to have to take another Uber." I explain

"I got you." Jack nods

I'm given the cue to let me know I'm up next in the booth.

We cycle through the rounds again.

Eventually, we reach a point where we can wrap up for the day.

Everyone says their goodbyes before leaving.

When I get back to my apartment I go through my routine and then head to bed.

Ryder's Pov

It takes me a little time to become some level of functionality.

As soon I can function, I get up and shuffle over to my belongings so I can get ready for the day.

I really need to do some laundry.

Once I'm finished getting ready I've gathered all of the dirty laundry I possibly can I head for the laundry room.

I start the first load.

Then I shuffle over to the kitchen to grab some water and then sit at the counter.

I suppose now is a good time to check and sort through emails.

My phone buzzes.

"Hello"

"Hi, Ryder! I'm calling about the apartment we looked at together. I've got some great news to share with you! Everything seems to be in order and the place is yours. There are just a few more things to fill out on your end and the rest of it will be sent to the others." The woman explains

"Oh my gosh! Really? That's great!"

"Would you be able to meet today or is there another time that works best for you?" The woman asks

"Um, what time are you available today?" I ask

"How about we meet for lunch at a nearby cafe? Does 12:30 work for you? " She suggests

"Yeah, that sounds great." I agree

"Perfect! I'll send you the address and see you then!" She replies

"Okay! Thank you! See you then!"

And with that, the call ends.

They had said they were going to try and fast-track everything.

I didn't know that it was going to be this fast.

It's absolutely insane to think about.

10:30 am

I've still got about 2 and a half hours before my meeting.

I pull up Eben's contact and press call.

A couple of rings later he picks up.

"Ry! What's up? How'd apartment hunting go?" He exclaims

"It went really well! I'm actually meeting today to sign some more stuff. Just wanted to check in today and see where we were at. Do you need anything?" I question
