The doctor watched as Tatsumi flew off in a hurry, the sudden snowstorm causing him to panic.
"How did his body look!?" Someone asked.
The doctor sighed. "Even from that little bit of time I had to examine him, it was obvious, he's fusing. The dragon used to make the armour is now using Tatsumi's body to incarnate itself and restore its original form. Inside him right now are both the dragon and Tatsumi. Two lives inhabiting the same space in a tug of war for domination. The body has already become a dragon, and the human soul is just barely holding on. He'll probably be absorbed by it soon enough, until they become one..." he theorized, pulling at his gloves.
"But if it's able to revive itself so completely after being made into armour, are the other Teigu users going to be okay?" Another soldier asked.
The doctors eyes widened, and he brought his hand up to his mouth, thinking. I'm such a fool, why did I not stop to consider that just as the armour and Tatsumi are fusing, that others can't fuse with their Teigu as well? They'll probably all end up the same way, that makes a Teigu like Lionelle that turns you half-beast all the more dangerous. He realized, thinking back to Leone. This is probably the longest that Teigu's have had to be used, I have to consider side effects that have never been documented.
...
The space all around him seemed to vibrate as Okubo drew in his power, before a sudden burst of power caused the ground all around him to be smashed further downwards, creating a ring-like crater around him.
He took a deep breath as he called upon his power.
It's been so long, since I've used this technique, I wonder just how powerful I would be? This is my trump card, King's Legacy!
A gust of air blew out all around him, pushing Esdeath back from the sheer force of it, and she continued to stare in shock. "This is..."
"Esdeath, let me tell you something I learned from a certain psychopath a few years ago, there's always someone stronger, and there's also someone who's much stronger, I'm the latter." Okubo stated.
His whole form was replaced with white energy that exerted raw, untamed strength, the darker areas of white making up things like his mouth and eyes, almost as though it were the opposite of Shobu's crystalline form, which was a darker colour.
Okubo stretched out his arms, before patting his tail. "Yep, this is something, as I am now, I could probably take on the world." He mumbled, nodding his head.
An idea suddenly came to mind, and he grinned, he shot a hand out, crystal chunks rising and breaking to hit his chest, back, shoulders, arms and legs, as well as sprouting up from under his feet.
The crystal seemed to take different forms until they were complete, a suit of hard crystalline armour now overtop his body.
"Oh yeah, that looks cool." He said to himself, looking at his reflection in a crystal he was using as a mirror.
He rolled his shoulder, and smirked, looking up into the sky, he summoned a large meteor of crystal, which sprouted up from the ground and spread out all over, before it fell.
He kept his arms wide as he gladly let it fall on him.
He was slammed into the ground by it, but as it shattered, he smiled widely.
"As I thought, the armour certainly helps." He turned to look at Esdeath, who instinctively took a step back.
He was suddenly behind her. "Sorry for making you wait hun."
She immediately turned, throwing a hand out, a large skewer of ice shooting up from the ground towards him, but he was gone.
"Well that wasn't very nice." He commented.
