It has been a couple days since Harry and I finished the bottle of wine in the backyard. I've been trying to not bother him, or come across needy. It wasn't that I needed him, or anyone, around, but I did like having him around, if that makes sense.

This morning, after breakfast, Harry stops by to deliver some kites for the girls. I see him knock on the door camera, but I can't get up to answer because Lottie is sleeping against me and I'm also holding Hattie. So, I unlock the door from my phone and tell him to just come in. I love technology.

Of course, Mia goes to get him, leading him by the hand into the living room. She whispers to him, "sissy is really sleepy today."

Harry approaches the pile of girls on the couch and holds his hand out for me to give him something. I must give him a confused look, because I honestly have no idea what he is asking me for.

"Your phone, Nola," he says softly. He reaches for my phone, remembering my passcode, and opens my camera app. He then leans down to whisper something to Mia, who shakes her head excitedly crawls up next to me and pretends to also be asleep.

After he shows me the picture, I open Instagram and create a post, showing him before I publish it. His dimples pop as he reads my caption. It is true, though. I am so thankful for his friendship.

Mia jumps back down to find her position next to Harry. "Harry, whats dat'?"

"Ugh, I'm caught. I was just going to leave these on the front steps. Your mum will have to decide when you can use them." Then he leans down to whisper something in Mia's ear again and her eyes pop and the giggles that fall from her whole body are like the ones that she only gave to one other person.

Luke.

I shake my head to remove the thought of Luke and store it away for when I am better equipped to deal with it. Of course the shaking wakes Lottie, who barely opens her eyes before the soft cries start again. "Here, sweetie," I say, giving her the warm compress.

Harry is being directed by Mia in the toy annex, but pulls away from tea party set-up to check in on Lottie. "Is she not feeling well?"

"It's her ears. They have always been a problem. She has tubes, but I am guessing one is either not working or has come out. We are just holding on until we can call our doctor in the states. Hopefully she can call something in over here before the pharmacies close?" I tell him, knowing that if we were at home she would do it in a heartbeat.

"Where in the states?"

"California."

He looks at his phone. I can see him doing the conversion. "It's only 3am there. What time do they open?"

"The nurse line opens at 7:30am. So, another four hours? All she wants to do is lay with me." I tell him, in case it is not obvious. I am still in my PJ's, my hair is a mess, and the remnants of camping out with Lottie in the living room all night are spewed all over.
