"Hey!"
"Hi! I'm calling to tell you not to look at the internet."
"I never do anymore, though I'm guessing this has nothing to do with the child I'm carrying and everything to do with his non-father."
"Yeah. He brought someone to Jeff's wedding."
"Like a date?" I ask, but now I'm sitting up from my previous lounging position. Thankfully, Hope is calling while the girls are out at preschool and Hattie can't tell anyone about our conversation.
"Yeah. They were holding hands and dressed alike..."
"And?"
"And you know her, Nola." What they hell?
"I don't know very many people, unless it's someone from my past, which would just being this disaster full circle now wouldn't it?" I say, somewhat joking, but feeling like that would be my luck.
"Do you want me to tell you?"
"If you don't, then I'll have to search for the articles and then I'll go down some god forsaken rabbit hole for the next few hours."
"What the w real fuck, Harry," I say out loud before I can hold it in. "Really?" I ask her.
"Yeah. I'm going to send you a few screenshots, but you have to promise not to deep dive or I'm going to have your grandmother confiscate your phone."
"Fine. Send them."

"What the hell is he doing in a bathrobe?" I ask myself almost as much as I ask Hope.
"Apparently he officiated the wedding."
"Oh," I say because I don't have a snarky remark for that. He would be incredible at speaking on behalf of a couple making that type of commitment. As much as he wants to think that he is not, he is a commitment person. Whatever his hang ups were in the past, they're gone because he would have been all in with me. Now I just hope he isn't all in with Olivia.
"Clearly Olivia isn't with Jason anymore?" I ask, knowing that my cousin will have done the work for me so I don't have to.
"Apparently not. Some are saying the separation happened before filming, others are saying Harry was the cause."
"I don't, for a second, believe that Harry is responsible. He wouldn't do that." I defend him because even though I'm upset, and even though he's upset, I know he would never break up a family for any reason.
