I didn't want to leave Paris. Not now that she's going to be my wife. Honestly, I really didn't want to leave her side ever again, but her coming on tour with four kids is just not a reality at this point. She has to be a mum first, and I understand that.

On the flight back, I had some rather important calls to make. The first call was to Mitch and Sarah.

>>>>>>>>>>> Flashback to FaceTiming Mitch and Sarah -----

"So?!!" Sarah answers, pushing Mitch almost entirely out of the screen so that she can get all up in my face about not having told them anything about the trip until now.

"So she said YES!" I say excitedly and Sarah drops her phone in all the excitement.

In the background, I can hear her screaming, "oh, my god!!" over and over. When Mitch picks up the phone he has a genuine Mitch Rowland smile on and his next words are some I will remember for the rest of my life.

"She is your prefect match, Harry. She is everything that you are not, but even more important she can read you and she gives you what you need. You do the same for her. That, my friend, is what makes all the difference." As his words sink in I realize that this is how he and Sarah have always functioned in their relationship. They have always preached that "relationships are rarely 50/50. Instead they are the constant changing give and take of two humans making each other whole." It wasn't until I met Nola that I truly understood what they meant by that.

"So, was there any hesitation?" Sarah asks, because it was a bit out of left field.

"None!" I say, confidently. "I mean, she was surprised, but not unsure of her answer."

"We are so happy for you."

"Thanks, guys. For everything."

End of FaceTime flashback >>>>>>>>>>

As soon as she said 'yes', I putplans for the London house into action. I'd taken Sloan Williams card and she had put me in contact with Sofie Haas, who was a children's space designer at Bumble, a division of AR Harris. Together they came up with a plan to finish the spaces upstairs in phase one. Then, for phase two, they came up with a preliminary plan for downstairs, but that is something I want Nola's input on, so that was not started

Phase one did not require a lot of structural changes. The girls bedrooms were staying the same, with the exception of fresh paint and a built-in bed for Hattie's room. Nola's room would remain untouched, but her bathroom (which was always much too big) would be split into two bathrooms. The second would become a small en-suite for Hattie's room. Then, the fourth (and smallest) room at the end of the hall would become a playroom/library. This decision was made because otherwise Conrad's room would be the farthest from her bedroom.

It took some time to decide which room to turn into Conrad's room. In what was my half of the house, there were two bedrooms on either side of the hallway, then mine at the end. Ultimately, we decided to keep the two guest rooms on the same side with a shared bathroom. Then, Conrad's room would be the farther away room, leaving the room closest to the bedroom open to use for a styling closet. At least that's what I told the designer, but I think she could see right through me, commenting that it would make the perfect nursery someday, which it will.

So, the second call I made was to Sloan and Sofie, asking them to pay whoever they needed to overtime so that I could expedite the process of finishing phase one. I was told that they could definitely get everything done in all the bedrooms and that they would try their best to get the bathroom finished, but that the bathroom would be the only thing that might not be finished by the time I am done with my shows in Austin.
