Saint Michael the Archangel: A Novel

Chapter 1

"Michael!" The Archangel wakes up stretching his wings while yawning at the same time he gets off the bed looking at the photo of him and the other angels smiling in the photo.In the photo one of the angels named Lucifer wasn't smiling poor lucifer he had a hard time on earth. He remembers when Lucifer was a human like him before becoming an angel he had a very abusive dad he was the oldest of 4 children Lucifer had to take care of his 3 little siblings "Michael!" He snapped from his thoughts and put down the photo before flying in the halls where another angel Gabriel was waiting for him "Sorry about that Gabe ''. Gabriel smiled while shaking his head at the same time "Oh Michael anyway god wants to see you". He nodded while he and Gabe flew to god's presence Michael bowed to god "Sorry my lord I overslept". God smiled at Michael "I forgive you Michael at least you're here that's what matters". Michael got off the ground and God counted heads before realizing that someone is missing "Where's Satan?" Raphael shrugs his shoulders ''In hell why?" God got off the throne looking at the angels ''I need him for a minute". The angels gasped at what God had said to bring Lucifer from hell? Uriel looked at God, "But Lord he's a liar and deceiver now you want him?" God nodded his head, "I know but he wasn't bad in the first place. He has a kind soul". The angels with God's permission brought Lucifer out of hell and brought him to God Lucifer of course didn't want to be there "Why am I here?" God puts a hand on Lucifer's shoulder "I called you because I need you for a minute". Lucifer sighed and stood next to Michael who was looking at him God sat back down on the throne " I have called you all here for an important mission". Raphael kneels before God "Lord, we will complete this mission". The other angels agreed except Lucifer who was crossing his arms. God smiled "I'm taking you all back to earth".The angels gasped as what God had said Michael looked at God "Are you joking don't tell me you're joking". God shook his head "I'm not joking you're going to go back to earth to see if my children are behaving good or bad" Lucifer stared at God in disbelief "W-what are you saying we are going back?" God nodded and Lucifer walked backwards "I'm not going back". Sealtiel looked at Lucifer "What do you mean you're not going back?" Lucifer glanced at Sealtiel "I said I'm not going back! I'm not going back. Don't you understand!"Jophiel tries to calm Lucifer down but Lucifer backs away "I am not going back, not after what he did to me!" Barachiel stared at Lucifer "Lucifer please just let us do the mission and we would come back". Lucifer sighed and nodded. God sent them to earth Lucifer looked around "It's good to be back, looks like nothing much has changed". They looked around and saw houses, shops, a skate park, school, etc.Jophiel remembered when they used to be here before they died she remembered she used to be in the park with her friends Michael looked at the house down the street "Hey that's my house down there". The others looked at their own house and pointed to their house. Lucifer pulled up his hoodie and crossed his arms. Jophiel tapped on his shoulder "Hey Lucifer, where's your house?" Lucifer sighed and pointed to the house in the corner. Michael put a hand on Lucifer's shoulder "Hey Lucifer maybe you can try to make it up with your father". Lucifer shook his head "Michael you know I can't face my father after what happened". Michael smiled at Lucifer "I hope everything is ok with your father and I hope you make peace". Lucifer smiled at Michael before he and the others parted ways leaving Lucifer by himself he sighed and walked to his house he took a deep breath before knocking on the door a woman's voice was heard "Coming!" He heard the door open and the woman looked at him "May I help you?" Lucifer looked at the woman and smiled "Hi Mom". The woman looked closely at Lucifer before covering her mouth "S-Samael?" Lucifer hugged his mom while smiling "It's Lucifer exactly". His mother took him to the house where his siblings were sitting on the couch watching tv their mother smiled at them "Kids look who's back". They looked at Lucifer and screamed getting off the couch and running towards him Lucifer knelt down and hugged his siblings "Samael we missed you so much!" Lucifer smiled at his siblings and kissed each one of them on the head "I missed you guys too". Lucifer took off his shoes while his mother closed the door Lucifer sat on the couch as his siblings sat next to him "Samael where have you been?" Lucifer smiled at his siblings "I went to a better place". Before his mother could say anything they heard the door closed and Lucifer's father came back from work and saw Lucifer on the couch "Now look who's here if it isn't Samael the mistake". Lucifer got off the couch and looked straight to his father in the eyes "It's Lucifer Samael MorningStar to you". His father grabbed him by the collar and shoved him to the ground. "Don't talk back to me young man as long as you live in my house you're not the boss of me!" Lucifer yelled at his father which got him a big slap across the face Lucifer held his left cheek with his right hand that he got slapped on his mother and siblings watched in horror as Lucifer's father slapped him again as Lucifer tried to talk his father out of the sudden grabbed Lucifer and threw him on the wall "Listen here boy if you ever in your life yelled at me your own father again I will kill you like I did last time do you understand?" Lucifer nodded before running upstairs to his room where he slammed his bedroom door. His mother looked at his father "How could you?!" His father glanced at his mother, "He needs to learn, so do you!" His father left the living room leaving his mother and siblings alone. Lucifer slumped on his bed trying to hold the tears he took out his phone from his pocket and started texting the others

The Group Chat

Lucifer: Hello guys you there?

Michael: Hey Lucifer

Jophiel: Hey Luci

Sealtiel: Hello

Gabriel: Sup

Barachiel: Hey

Lucifer: How's your family?

Michael: Good my parents were so happy and they were crying

Lucifer:That's nice

Jophiel: So how's your family Luci?

Lucifer: Good I guess

Michael: Did your dad make peace?

Lucifer: Well not really he was very abusive and well he did this to me

*Lucifer took a picture of his wounds and send it to the group*

Gabriel: What the heck!

Jophiel: Did your dad do that?

Lucifer: Yes he did

Michael: I am so sorry Lucifer

Barachiel: What is wrong with your dad?

Sealtiel: Oh god Lucifer this is too much I am so sorry this happened to you

Lucifer: Its fine guys

Barachiel: Its not fine Lucifer he has no right to lay his hands on you!

Jophiel: Yes he has no right just because he's your father does not mean he could try to harm you!

Lucifer: My mom is coming upstairs I gtg bye

Jophiel: Bye

Barachiel: Bye Lucifer

Sealtiel: Bye

Michael: Bye Lucifer

Lucifer puts his phone away he heard a knock at his door "Samael may I come in?" Lucifer took a deep breath "Yes mom". His mother opened the door "Are you alright?" He shurgs his shoulder " I guess so". His mom sat on his bed looking at him "I am so sorry about your father he just had a long day at work". Lucifer looks at the floor "Mom its fine I'm fine alright?" His mom looks at him " You sure?" Lucifer nodded as his mom got off the bed and started walking towards the door and opens it "If you need anything you can talk to me". Lucifer nodded as his mom closed the door behind her Lucifer took out his phone again and started texting

Lucifer: I'm Back

Gabriel: How are things with your mom?

Lucifer: Good she's supportive

Barachiel: That's good

Jophiel: She's a great mom

Sealtiel: Yea she's a good person

Michael: Lucifer will you be ok?

Lucifer: Yea I'll be fine I'm just tired bye guys

*Samael logs off*

Gabriel: Samael?

Jophiel: Who's Samael?

Michael: I think thats his name

Barachiel: I thought it was lucifer

Sealtiel: Maybe we should ask

Jophiel: Yea

Lucifer slumped on his bed and turned off his phone "I hate my dad". He puts his phone on the lamp stand and falls asleep.
