''1.. 2.. 3.. Happy New Year Hazz'' says Louis after which he presses his lips to mine. Outside, fireworks are set off while we snuggle under a blanket in the sofa.
''Do you want to go look outside?'' I ask, Louis shakes his head and gets up to open the curtain.
''Now we can watch from inside'' he says as he comes back to lie next to me. Smiling, we watch the fireworks. The different colours illuminate the sky. If you listen carefully, you can hear the fireworks crackling. The radio plays softly. I run my hand through Louis' hair. ''Are we going to watch another film?" asks Louis for the third time tonight.
''Sure, which one do you want to watch next?'' I reply.
''The Grinch'' he smiles after which he puts on the film. I smile and kiss his cheek.
