Grace lies, comatose, in her open link. "Jake, you go to the Omaticaya, there is something I need to do." Jake gives me a worried look, "Don't worry, I'll be with you once they help mo- I mean Grace" Jake gives me a cheeky smile, hearing the error in my speech before nodding, putting a hand and a my head as he tells me to keep safe. Trudy gives us a look saying not much time. I feel Grace's cold forehead before crossing to my link.

As Trudy helps Jake in whilst I go into my own Norm rapidly prepares the system. "Tsu'tey is Olo'eyctan now. He's not going to let you near that place." "We gotta try Norm. For Grace's sake." I say with a worried look. 'Grace is dieing and hear we are wasting time... arguing about a possible outcome.'

I pull the clamshell down as my avatar eyes open. I sit up. Realising that the forest is silent, shrouded in smoke so the sun can't penatrate. Ash blows in the wind.

I reach the top of the rise to see the site of the forest, beyond utterly devastated. The trees burned and fallen. Small fires still flicker across the landscape in hell, in my vision made real. 'How- how could they. They're all dead.' I think in hatred, all this destruction, for what, to make more cash.

I stumble through the dark wasteland, sparks and ash swirling around me. From a distance I can hear a screech, one that is familiar. Looking loward the sorce i see my banshee- who I am bonded to, for life- flaps doen to a landing. I step towards it and stroke its head while it nudges my chest like a horse.

'Somethimes your whole life simply boils down to one insane move' "Come on boys time to fly."

In the mountains the leonopteryx glides effortlessly along the ridge where Neytiri Jake and I first encountered it. It scans below for prey, it's magnificent indigo crested head coking left, then right. 'By the way I have figures it out. Toruk is the badest cat in the sky. Nothing attacks him... So why would he ever look up?'

The small shadow of my banshee falls across the back of the might toruk. 'But that's just a theory... well, lets go get another animal friend' I dive down toward the great beast and our own shadow and then...

... Tackle them at full force causing them to fall of balance and plumet to the ground whilst screeching. I reach for its antenna with one hand while using the other to fetch my queue, unfortunately I can barely reach it as leonopteryx squirms around. 'Come on, come on'

It takes a few trys but I finnaly grab ahold of it. 'Yes!' Like o did to tame my banshee I slam it into my queue as I feel the neural connection form between us. Looking up to see my banshee still there I call them towards us, "find all the animals you can, predators and prey... everyone, gather them for the war that is soon to come. Today, we fight as one... to protect our home from the outsiders who wish to destroy it. Tell them toruk macto calles them! Go! Go! Hurry... and come back safe."

Hearing my commanding voice my banshee heads of into the clouds, finding all the allys we need to win this war. "Come on boy, let's go meet our Omaticaya friends. At the well of souls!" I say as we take off at great speed, feeling the wind in my hair and inhaling the fresh air, it- it makes me feel alive, more than I ever have before. "whoohooo!" 'Now this is the feeling of freedom'

After a few minutes I can already see the well of souls in site, bit it's still quite a distance away. "You really are fast, huh" I say patting thier head as they look up at me with an emotion I cannot defer. But I'm just gonna say that they're happy.

Comming up above the well of souls I see Jake already among the Omaticaya, on... his leonopteryx, but it look like he has just got there. "Jake!" Hearing my voice and seeing the massive shadow everyone look up to see me riding my leonopteryx before landing next to Jake.
