Following Revan's wedding Revan was asked to the Council Chamber. He goes there without a second thought. Padmé was worried that the Council knew about them, but Revan wasn't worried. He knew the risks, and he'd do it all again. He loved Padmé more than the rules of the Jedi Code. He felt that the code were guidelines rather than rules.
He was now standing in front of the Council. A hologram of Yoda was seen.
Yoda: My Padawan, the time has come.
Mace Windu: Given what has happened between you, and Count Dooku, we all feel that you shall be granted the title of Master, and a seat on the Council. Your skills as a leader, and a warrior has been noted.
He was quiet for a moment, before speaking.
Revan: I humbly accept, Master Windu. And I am grateful for this opportunity.
Yoda: Proud I am of you achievements.
Revan bowed to all of the Council members.
Mace Windu: It also seems fitting that you'd be given a ship to command. There is a ship that is waiting for you.
Revan then left with his Padawan Ashla following behind him.
Ashla: Wow, you're officially a Jedi Master. That's so cool.
Despite her jumpy-ness, and her infectious positive attitude, she is a formidable apprentice. She has been taking in Revan's lessons with a willing to learn, and is a quick study. Though she has reservations about learning some of his teachings.
Flashback:
Revan was brutal with his lightsaber skills, and Ashla was having difficulty in keeping up with his attacks. He eventually stopped for her to catch her breath.
Revan: I know this maybe difficult, Ashla. But in time you'll understand as I once did. The Force has existed long before the Jedi and the Sith divided it between Light and Dark, it'll be here long after the Republic, the Separatists, and Empires have gone. You must be prepared... or the next Sith you face will be your last.
She gets up, and looks at him with a determined look.
Revan: But I won't judge you, if you wish to leave now. You do have a choice young one.
She ignited her lightsaber, and got into her fighting stance with a smile on her face. Through his mask he too was smiling. He was beginning to like her. They continued their sparring session. Needless to say she was sore from head to toe. All her muscles ached, but she received praise from her Master about her progress, and she couldn't have been happier.
Flashback end:
They made it to the ship, and the size of it was impressive.

They called it the Legacy-Class. And it was a black ship with Republic emblems on it.
Ashla: Wow, that is one.... big..... ship.
Axe: It's the biggest ship in the entire fleet. Our ship's captain thought it should be you to name her, sir.
Revan thinks on it for a moment.
Revan: Hyperion. Call her the Hyperion.
Since then this ship has been a powerhouse, and has gotten out of many of situations. This is a ship to be reckoned with.
Revan even got his own squad. Axe is the leader of the squad, and Revan considered him a good friend. They call themselves the 3rd Legion.
Axe. Commander of the 3rd Legion.

Axe is a caring commander, and is willing to get the job done no matter what it takes. He gets along well with Revan.

Over the course of Revan training Ashla, she has come to think of him as her big brother. She is also liked by the 3rd Legion as well, and they all think of her as a little sister.
