( Ethan's POV)

"No way.." I muttered under my breath as I covered my mouth not believing what my eyes are seeing.

Theo..

He's here, h-he's actually standing in front of me.

Alive and healthy.

But with a mortal?

"Don't you dare touch my uncle" The child yelled protectively while hiding Theo behind him.

I could only stare at him, and back at the child with one of the most fierce's human eyes I've ever seen since I got here in the human realm.

What is that mortal's relationship with Theo?

" Dad I'm sor-"

"We'll talk back home" I muttered as I squeezed Tristan's shoulders in authority.

This little runt has made me go through a lot of trouble.

And Theo..is one of them.

"Damon" I muttered under my breathe as I peeked beside me only to find Damon starring at Theo and the child intently.

Fuck I'm losing him.

" Damon, we already have Tristan, let's just leave him-"

"Grab the kid and the wolf" Damon ordered causing my eyes to widen as the bathallion leaders approached the two.

"Just look at this place Ethan, it's so small I'm actually surprised that Tristan was able to fit here" Damon stated causing my anxiousness to rise up.

Fuck no, he'll take everything away from me again.

"Damon he's clearly living fine here-"

"Barely, just look at this, their chairs looks so small might as well count them as a footstools" He replied.

"But the elders-"

"I killed them, tho yes, there's still one missing, but I have full authority now unlike 7 years ago, even if that elder comes back I can easily kill him too, not even my father nor the former luna can defy me." he said causing me to clench my fist trying to calm myself.

"Ethan..we were forced to reject him 7 years ago, now we found him again. Do you want to lose this chance of a lifetime?" He said, his eyes not leaving Theo.

"O-of course I don't. I want him to be back as well, but..what will the pack say?"

"It's final" he said as he walked over seeing Theo holding the mortal protectively as he stood firm in place not wanting to be touched by the unfamiliar bathallion leaders.
