There was pin-drop silence in the house. Let me rephrase that. There was an awkward silence in the house.

"If you want to say something then spill it. Because you are making a really weird face." Raam said.

"Uh...." I tried to find words. Should I just say thank you or maybe....

"Are you still not out of the shock?" He said.

"Yeah... wait... what? Why on earth would I be in shock?" I asked him.

"Maybe I saved you from that crazy situation. Which reminds me, shouldn't you at least thank me for helping you?" He taunted.

"Alright, Mr. Savior. Thank you for saving me, although I could have clearly handled it on my own." I added in the end.

I was slightly taken aback by the fact that him and I were actually having a normal conversation. I was brought into the reality by the knock on the door.

"Now what? Honestly, these people are driving me crazy now. Can't a guy just sit back and relax?" Raam grumbled and I couldn't help up but stifle a laugh. He glared at me and moved to open the door.

He opened the door to see Ritu Di's husband standing at the door.

"You both left without having dinner. Please come with me. There are only a few us, close people left now. Please don't refuse. Ritu was really disheartened by what happened today, so please join us for dinner." He said in a small voice and I couldn't help but feel bad for the guy. They both seemed really nice people but they were stuck in a humiliating condition just because of the crazy man in their family.

I couldn't see him like that so I decided to intervene. I placed my hand on Raam's shoulder and he immediately stiffened. Every single person who we have met till now has showered us with so much kindness and love since day 1. Even though Raam looked exhausted and even I was mentally exhausted today, I decided to spend a little bit of time with them. So I signed Raam to say yes. We still haven't changed yet, so dressing was not a problem here.

He looked at me, annoyed. But as I gestured at him to look towards the man in front of us, he too felt bad and immediately said yes.

"Since Day 1, all of you people have showered us with so much kindness and love. I can not say no to you both. As I can clearly feel the amount of efforts that you guys have put to enjoy your special day with the people you care for." Raam said and I was in shock as he said the exact same words that I was thinking just a moment back.

"Let's go. Shall we?" He said and put out his arm for me to follow.

We entered the house once again. Ritu Di's face was lit up as she saw us joining and I couldn't help but smile back at her. The poor lady was so much embarrassed after the stunt her brother-in-law pulled. That jerk literally ruined their special day.

So me and Raam, took a seat with everyone else and even had dinner. Now, it was around 11, and I was more than tired as I couldn't wait to go and collapse on my bed.

I was shocked to see Madhu Aunty dancing shyly with her husband. It seems like as we were all busy in conversation, her husband insisted to have a dance with her. She was all red due to shyness and had a really beautiful smile on her face. The entire room cheered and clapped for the elderly couple while the ladies just cooed seeing the lovely couple swaying on the dance floor.

Soon after, Ritu Di and her husband joined them on the floor. And it wasn't long until almost everyone was on the dance floor, dancing with there partners.

Me and Raam were standing awkwardly near the side.

"Oye Raghav. What kind of a man are you? You guys are newly married young guys, for God's sake. Take her hand and join us on the floor." Someone said from the dance floor and I couldn't help but blush due to the sudden attention I was getting.
