Episode 7

Before the trial:
Me and Owen were half awake in our bed.
"Did you sleep okay?" I asked him as I turned around.
"Yeah I had a beautiful dream. I dreamt that me and Mike went for a Nando's." Owen answered.
"Course you did babe." I stated laughing.
"I need a shower." Owen stated as we got up.
"So do I actually I fucking stink." I stated getting up and stretching.
"Let's go take a quick shower then." Owen stated. We went to take a quick shower. I needed to just wash my hair.
Maddie: we found out me and Owen were going to be doing the trial today. I don't mind that but worst thing is everyone is watching us do it.
Owen: You are looking at the dream team right here.
Maddie: Owen babe your wonderful but we are not the dream team. We are what they call a couple.
Owen: Any brainy question we have Maddie.
Maddie: how smart do you think I am. Just because I just about an managed to homeschool Paddy doesn't mean I'm that smart.
We were getting ready to go to the trial.
"Are you excited?" Mike asked putting his arm around me.
"No I would be if I didn't have more then three people talking to me." I answered laughing.
"Hey we are not that bad." Jill stated.
"I got 12 starts with just Ant and Dec together and that was alone." I stated laughing.
"Leave us alone." Mike joked making me laugh.
"Are you two stealing my girlfriend?" Owen jokingly asked.
"Yes we are." Jill jokingly answered.
"Ahh okay have fun." Owen joked.
"Hey Mike he's being mean to me." I joked laughing.
"No being mean to my niece." Mike jokingly said. Owen held my hand and brought me closer.
"Hey." I stated as he kissed me slightly. Me and Owen started walking.
"We got this babe." Owen stated.
"Welcome to the Bushtucker trial clearing. It is nice to be all out of camp?" Ant asked.
"In a way." I answered laughing.
"Yes." Everyone cheered.
"I bet it is." Ant stated.
"As you know we came in to tell you that Maddie and Owen have been voted for to do this trial. It's called who wants to look silly on the air?" Dec explained.
"Ooh." Someone said behind me. I sighed slightly.
"And if you both are ready you can come and join us and we'll get going. Give them a light smattering applause everyone." Dec said. Owen dragged me up to the front as everyone was clapping for us.
"Hello and welcome to Who Wants to Look Silly on Air? Now of course is the jungle version of the legendary Tv show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Now I'm afraid for you two there's no cash up for grabs today." Ant said.
"Why can't we win money." I stated.
"But there is 12 stars. A big yes that's good. We are going to ask you 6 multiple choice questions. You got 60 seconds to give us your final answer each time. The rest of the questions from then on in are worth two stars each. Every star you win is worth a meal for camp. As with the real show the audience are not allowed to help until your called upon." Ant stated.
"Hey Ant is there an option to hold hands during this?" I asked Ant.
"Well no rules are written on it. So I'm guessing yes." Ant answered. I grabbed Owens hand slightly and smiled at him.
"You do have some lifelines to help you out along the way, though. They are phone a friend 50/50 ask the audience and ask the hosts!" Dec stated.
"So I can ask you at one point but you two are no help." I stated. They explained it a bit more.
"What are you like with quizzes in general? Owen?" Ant asked.
"Leicester city, 15/16 Premier League season. If that pops up I'm sorted." Owen answered.
"Maddie what about you?" Dec asked.
"If anything Marvel comes up I was trained for this ever since I was 16-17." I answered laughing. We started the trial. We put our goggles on.
"So are you both ready?" Dec asked.
"Sadly." I answered.
"Yes." Owen answered from beside me.
"Then let's play Who Wants to Look Silly on Air? Thank you." Dec stated.
"I'm genuinely very excited about this." Ant stated.
"I'm not." I stated as Owen gripped my hand slightly.
"Right best of luck. Here's your first question. In the Harry Potter movies who played Sirius Black?" Ant asked.
"I know Tom would kill me if I didn't get this." I stated laughing.
"A. Timothy Spall B. John Hurt C. Ralph Fiennes or D. Gary Oldman." Ant stated. "Your 60 seconds starts know."
"I know it's D. Because C played Voldemort in the series I don't know about the other two." I stated as something splatted on us.
"No." Owen shouted.
"Owen it's D. Trust me." I shouted.
"Go with whatever Maddie says." Owen shouted.
"Maddie what are you saying?" Ant asked.
"D Gary Oldman." I answered as I was getting shit all over me. "Fuck sake man stop." I shouted.
"Maddie's correct it is D Gary Oldman. That's a star for camp." Ant stated.
"How did you even know that?" Owen asked.
"Tom he's a Harry Potter fan so." I answered.
"Second question. In which Australian city were Chris and Liam Hemsworth born?" Dec asked.
"Maddie thing you've met both of them." I muttered.
"A. Melbourne B. Sydney C. Perth or D. Brisbane." Dec carried on.
"I know it isn't Perth." I shouted as we were covered in white stuff.
"What is it?" Owen asked.
"It isn't Sydney either I know that because of the fact Liam always said he wanted to visit Sydney." I stated as I screamed.
"Come on Mads." Owen shouted as he started screaming.
"Maddie and Owen we need an answer." Dec stated.
"I'm going with A. Melbourne." I shouted wriggling around in my chair.
"Yes that's four stars for camp." Dec stated.
"Thank fuck." I stated.
"Question 3. According to Forbe Billionaires List who is the worlds richest person? A. Bill Gates B. Warren Buffet C. Elon Musk or D. Jeff Bezos." Ant stated. "Your time starts now."
"It has to be Elon Musk because he has Tesla." I stated as some gunk fell on us.
"I think it's Jeff." Owen stated.
"No Jeff got divorced that one time. And that set him back." I stated.
"How do you know this?" Owen asked.
"My moms obsessed with the news she's always telling me things that's happening. See mom I do pay attention." I answered.
"We'll go with whatever you think Maddie as you have gotten every question so far right." Owen stated.
"Boys I think it's C. Good old Elon Musk." I stated.
"That is correct." Ant stated. "That is 6 stars for camp Maddie you are on a roll."
"I may not know important stuff but I know these things." I stated.
"Well done Maddie." Jill shouted.
"As the crow flies which of these places is closer to the I'm a celeb camp? A. The Las Vagas strip B. Mount Fuji C. The Taj Mahal or D. The Effie Tower. 60 seconds start now." Dec stated.
"I failed geography in school." I stated looking at Owen. "I can tell you it's probably not Taj Mahal." I stated.
"Oh that's thick." Owen stated as stuff got dumped on us.
"Taj Mahal is on the other side of the world. I remember my year 7 geography teacher talking about it." I groaned.
"That's gross." Owen stated.
"We could do a 50/50 on this one cause I know it's not Taj Mahal but I'm not 100% sure on the other three." I stated.
"Yeah go for 50/50." Owen stated.
"Boys let us take a 50/50." I stated looking at the two boys in-front of me.
"Stop the clock." Ant stated.
"This is treacle." Owen stated.
"You've chosen 50/50. Computer, would you take away two randomly generated wrong answers please? So you've left with B. Mount Fuji or C. The Taj Mahal." Dec answered. "Your time starts again."
"I have no clue. But Mount Fuji is in Japan and that is north." I piped up looking at the screen.
"How do you know all of this?" Owen asked as some guts fell onto us.
"Shit. I have no clue. But now I'm thinking it's C." I stated.
"Go with C Mads." Owen stated.
"Okay boys we are going with C. Taj Mahal." I stated looking at them two.
"Is that your final answer?" Dec asked.
"Yes it is Dec." I answered.
"Computer, is that the right answer?" Ant asked.
"It's Mount Fuji." Dec answers.
"What the fuck? No wonder I failed." I stated shoving some guts off my shoulders.
"So you lose them two stars." Dec stated.
"Fuck off." I shouted pushing guts of me.
"Mads it's fine it's 2 stars we have 6 already thanks to you." Owen said gripping my hand slightly.
"You've got 2 questioned left. And you got everything but 50/50 left." Dec stated.
"Yes I know boys I know how many questions I've had to answer. Because I've got us 5 stars. And no questions wrong till this one." I piped up.
"Mads babe we are doing good." Owen shouted.
"Here we go with question 5..." Dec stated.
"Which of these sport stars has not come first in the Sports Personality of The Year award? A. Jonny Wilkinson B. Jessica Ennis-hill C. Michael Owen or D. Andrew Flintoff. Your time starts now." Ant read as feathers came down.
"I don't think Michael Owens won it? We've got two questions left." Owen stated. We answered the last two questions managing to get them both right.
"Well done Maddie and Owen for winning 10 stars for camp." Ant stated as we got up to leave.
"I hated this trial fuck knows how I'm gonna get this off my clothes." I pointed out rubbing the feathers off my face.
"Can we have new clothes?" Owen asked. Owen fell as we started walking making me laugh.
"Come on Owen before you make me piss myself of laughing as well." I stated putting my hand out for him.
"Well done Maddie." George said as I walked passed him. He high-fives me slightly.
"10 stars now idea how." I stated looking into the camera.
"It was hard." Owen stated.
"It was hard. I don't know how I got most the questions." I pointed out.
"Yeah she did most of the work." Owen piped up.
"I answered like 4 of the 6 questions myself." I said laughing.
"We smell so bad." Owen said as we got to camp.
"And we look stupid." I answered walking into camp.
George: we did amazing today with the stars. Which is mainly thanks to the smart one Maddie. Thank god my adoptive daughter is smart so we can eat tonight. (Laughs).
"Maddie don't beat yourself up about the remaining two stars." Jill stated.
"I know I shouldn't but we are all hungry and we all want food. I feel like I let Owen down with getting the question wrong." I stated looking at her.
"I know you feel like you let us down but if anything you did us proud with getting 10 and we are thankful for that." Jill stated I nodded before turning around.
"I want a shower." I stated walking towards the shower.
"Same." Owen said following me. I went towards the shower and took my stuff off. Owen pulled me into a hug after we got to the showers.
"Jill told me you fell bad Mads." Owen stated letting me go.
"I do feel bad. We all wanted 12 stars. I promised I'd get us food." I stated taking my top off to reveal my bikini.
"Don't feel bad. You still got us 10 stars without my help." Owen stated.
"I feel bad because you wanted to at least have a good meal." I answered going to have a wash down.
"Mads don't feel bad because we couldn't get 12 stars we still got 10. We are still a dream team." Owen stated as I managed to have a shower and clean myself down from all the shit. We were sat down round the fire. We started talking about food. I was sat next to George. We were talking about George's his past.
Maddie: listening to George's stories were amazing. I did read his autobiography because mom brought it me for Christmas three years ago. But having listened to the stories from his mouth makes it feel like you can picture it better.
We all sat there listening to George explain how he first became gay. I burst out laughing at his story about his dad. It was later in the day and we were all talking. I was sorting my hat out.
"Owen what do I have to do..." Seann stated. It could go one of two ways. Him asking Owen how he pulled me or something else.
"I know exactly what's coming next." Charlene said.
"I have an idea of what could happen." I stated standing up.
"What do I have to do to look like you?" Seann asked.
"Six meals a day." Charlene stated.
"Stir-fry." Mike stated.
"I can do that bit! Do you train?" Seann asked.
"Six times a week." Owen answered.
"And he's about 10 years younger then you." Charlene stated.
"First thing is I didn't look like that 10 years ago. Second is no wonder why Maddie moved on to him." Seann stated. I turned around to him.
"Yeah no wonder your almost 9 years older. That's why we didn't work in the first place." I stated taking my jacket off.
"You two dated?" Charlene asked.
"Yeah around the time I did dancing on ice last year for a month. I was getting too famous." I stated making Owen sniffle a laugh.
"Six times a week to work out. Once a day." Seann said ignoring me.
Owen: The way Maddie put him down that quickly was funny bro. It was so unexpected as well.
"There's 7 days in a week Seann." I stated.
"Yeah but yeah yeah." Seann stated.
"Mate I'm lucky, I just love it. I love the gym." Owen stated me and Mike looked at each other and started laughing.
"What are you two thinking?" Charlene asked looking at me and Mike.
"That we think Owen loves the gym more then Maddie." Mike said in between laughs. I was still laughing.
"Is that statement true Owen?" Charlene asked Owen.
"No." Owen answered laughing. We continued talking around the fire. I couldn't stop laughing at our gym talk. We did the question from Kevs deals on wheels.
"Maddie you have to teach us too dance before we leave here." Mike said.
"Okay then set up a day and I'll teach you to dance." I stated laughing.
"Maddie teach Matt to dance." Baba stated.
"Okay gladly get up Matt." I stated standing up. Matt gets up and follows me to a place.
"Go easy on me right now." Matt stated.
"Okay." I stated as I started teaching Matt the basics. We all started laughing.
"We didn't get it right." Jill stated from the bushes.
"What the fuck." I stated looking at her. We started talking about it. Food started to come down.
"I think Maddie should get the food out." Owen shouted nodding at me.
"Okay you muppet." I stated walking towards the food.
"I want some good food." Charlene stated from behind me.
"Celebrities as a result of Maddie and Owen winning 10 stars, in todays trial who wants to look silly on air, you have wild boar rump." I read.
"That sounds gross." Mike said.
"I agree." I stated we got everything ready to be cooked.
"When you and Maddie get married and she gets wooed again with your cooking come and thank us." Charlene stated making me laugh.
"Yeah Owen thank our jungle family for teaching you how to cook to impress me." I stated laughing.
"Hey Mads calm down." Owen said laughing.
"No I'm hyper." I stated. We finished cooking and started eating it. It was quite good.
The morning:
Ant and Dec walked into the camp. I was sat on Owens lap.
"Sue... the public have decided it's not you. Maddie... it's not you." Dec states.
"At least it isn't me." I stated. It was between Matt and Chris.
"The public has decided its... Matt." Dec stated we all laughed at this.
"Bloody hell Matt." I stated.
"Well you've done the same amount as me haven't you?" Matt asked.
"You've done two and I've done two so yeah. Because I did the underwater one you did the second one I did yesterdays and your doing todays." I stated laughing.
"Tomorrow it's probably Maddie." Jill joked.
"Probably will be me." I stated laughing.
