နွေရိပ်ခေတ်ကို မြတ်မြတ်နိုးနိုးနဲ့ ကြည့်ရင်း ဟန်လင်းထက် ပြောလိုက်သည်။ သင်းအုပ်ဆရာက တစ်ဖန်

'' Mr. Nway Yeik Khit , Will you have this man to be your wedded husband to live together in the covenant of marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live? ''

နွေရိပ်ပြန်ဖြေလိုက်၏။

သင်းအုပ်ဆရာက နွေရိပ့်ရဲ့ လက်ကို ယူကာ ဟန်လင်းထက်လက်ပေါ် ထပ်ပေးလိုက်ပြီးတော့ ဟန်လင်းထက်အား သူ့နောက်မှ လိုက်ပြောလာစေ၏။

'' I, Han Lin Htet, take you, Nway Yeik Khit, to be my wedded wife to have and to hold from this day forward. For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part; according to God's holy law. In the presence of God, I make this vow ''

ထပ်မံ နွေရိပ်ခေတ်ကိုလည်း ပြောစေ၏။

ဘေးက သွန်းငယ်ကိုင်ထားသည့် ငွေဗန်းထဲက လက်စွပ်ဘူးနှစ်ခုထဲက တစ်ခုက လက်စွပ်ကို ဟန်လင်းထက် ယူလိုက်ကာ နွေရိပ့်ရဲ့ ဘယ်ဘက်လက်သူကြွယ်ပေါ်ကို ဝတ်ပေးနေသည်။ လက်သူကြွယ်ပေါ်တွင် ပတ္တမြားတစ်လုံးတည်း လှလှပပမြှုပ်ထားသည့် ရွှေလက်စွပ်က မြိန့်မြိန့်ကြီး တင့်တယ်စွာ လိုက်ဖက်ရှိနေသည်။
နွေရိပ်လည်း အလားတူ လက်စွပ်ကို ဟန်လင်းထက်အား ဝတ်ပေးလေ၏။

အရာအားလုံးရဲ့ အဆုံးမှာ လူတွေအားလုံးရဲ့ ရှေ့မှောက်တွင် ချိုမြန်သော အနမ်းတစ်ခုနဲ့အတူ သူတို့နှစ်ယောက်ဟာ လူတွေရဲ့ အသိအမှတ်ပြုခံကာ တရားဝင်အိမ်ထောင်ဖက်တွေ ဖြစ်လာကြသည်။

နှစ်ယောက်စလုံး၏ မျက်နှာထက်တွင် အပြုံးတွေက အရမ်း အသက်ဝင်နေခဲ့သည့် အချိန်တွေထဲက အကောင်းဆုံး အမှတ်တရပေါ့။
အခုတော့ အတိတ်ဆိုတဲ့ အမည်နာမအောက်ကို ကူးပြောင်းသွားခဲ့ပြီဖြစ်တဲ့ ဖြစ်ရပ်ဆိုလည်း ဟုတ်နေတာပဲ။

ကတိကဝတ်တွေဆိုတာလဲ အမြဲမတည်မြဲတော့။ ကတိကဝတ်တွေဆိုတာ နောက်ဆုံးတော့လည်း လွယ်လွယ်ကူကူ ပြောလိုက်တဲ့ စကားတွေပါပဲ။ ဘယ်ရောက်သွားမှန်းမသိတော့ဘဲ လေထဲမှာ အစအန ပျောက်ကွယ်သွား ပြီး မရှိတော့ဘူး။
