"What are we? What is this" he ask randomly.
I sit in my bed thinking of an answer, but all that u come up with is "I don't know, what do you want it to be?"" i ask. "I wanna take you out. On a date" he says firmly. "When?" i ask excitingly.
"Not today, how about tomorrow?"
"Tomorrows good" i say.

I check my phone and it has a text from susannah saying she made a cake so i don't have to get one. I walk to my closet and pick out an outfit for today my eyes get caught by a simple pretty white dress.

I change in front of Jeremiah and he tries his hardest to look away but i feel him looking at me from the corner of his eye.

"Stop staring" i laugh
"i'm not" he says turning his head real fast.
"I feel your eyes staring at me" i say back
"Feel my eyes? That doesn't even make sense!" he laughs.
"asshole" i say walking out of the door
"An asshole you like" he mumbled thinking i couldn't hear him.
"yep" i say closing my door.

I enter belly's room to help her get ready, cause Taylor's not gonna help her at all. "Hey bells" I say opening the door without knocking .
"Privacy much?" Taylor whispers to herself.

I drag Taylor out of the room by her arm.
"What the hell let go of me!" she yells.
"I do not know what the hell your problem is. But it is Her Sweet 16 And your already trying to start drama at-" I check my phone. "8:30 am if you say one more thing that could somehow affect how her birthday goes, i'll beat the shit out of you."

She looks embarrassed like she just shit herself.
"Understand?" I say my adrenaline rushing through

my body. "uh-um-ye-yes!" she stuttered.
"And Jeremiah doesn't fucking like you so stop trying so hard, your embarrassing yourself." i say
"Oh and one more thing" and I whisper in her ear
"I heard what you did to Jere last summer, your fucking disgusting."

"Now we are going to go back in belly's room and act as if nothing happened, if your actually her friend you'll do this." i say pointing to belly's room. I turn around and see Jeremiah peaking his head through my door trying to listen in on the drama. "Jeremiah go to your room and stop eavesdropping!" i yell and he tiptoes over to his room. that's some funny shit.

I enter belly's room yet again. She's wearing a light blue dress with pearl earrings.
"Rose, Can you do my hair?" she ask me.
"of course!" i say grabbing the curling iron out of her hand. I curl her hair and make a little half braid crown going across it. I whisper in her ear "babes your 16!" She smiles "finally" she sighs.
"Do you want me to do your makeup?" i ask
"No, it's fine i can do it" she's says
"alright i'm gonna head downstairs" i say

I head downstairs and i see everyone down there "Are we ready she's about to come downstairs!?"
Susannah lights the birthday candles and Jeremiah turn the light off and we all hide.
Belly starts coming downstairs
"What the hell?" she turns on the light.
We all jump out and start singing happy birthday
She starts laughing in embarrassment. She blows out her candles "Presents?" She ask. "Sure" Mom starts laughing.

we gather in the living room and Jeremiah goes first he got her a lucky charm bracelet, then i gave her mine it was a Kylie lip kit. a new phone case, and some earrings and scrunchies. Susannah gave her a real pearl necklace. mom gave her a book with a poem in it. Taylor got her perfume. Steven hands her his present it's a Princeton sweat shirt.

Now it was conrad's turn "I forgot." he said
Belly looked like she was gonna cry. "No you didn't." I Said "I was with you when you bought it." I say
Why is he lying? he looked embarrassed.
"Fine, I did get you something but it's cheesy and not much."He pulls out the infinity necklace he had bought her. I love it she says" I can tell it means something for them but i didn't ask.
