It was later now and as punishment for knocking out Tiger Izuku was forced to keep his quirk on for the rest of the day while doing the exercises
Finally, it was dinner time and the two classes had to work together to make Curry
Izuku and Katsuki began a competition who could cut vegetables the best
Momo and Izumi were the judges
Izumi: kacchan these are all messed up!
Momo: but Izuku's are just fine! We have a winner!
Katsumi: how are his better?
Momo: they're cut more precisely and he even made them just the right size to fit into our mouths without chewing too much

After they made the curry Izuku saw Kota and Eri laughing, Izuku was going to check on it when he felt a tap on the shoulder, he turned his head to see Izumi
Izuku: Izumi? What's up?
Izumi: can I talk to you in private?
Izuku looked over at Ochako who looked toward the kids
Ochako: I'll keep an eye on them
Izuku and Izumi walked into the woods and after a long silence Izumi fell to her knees
Izuku: Izumi!
Izumi began to sob, unable to look up
Izumi: I'm sorry... I'M SORRY I LEFT YOU!
Izuku: W-what are you talking about?
Izumi: I know it's you! *Sob* Izuku... I'm sorry
Izuku: what gave you that idea?
Izumi: that day in the recovery ward I saw your eyes... Your real ones I'd recognize my brother's jade irises anywhere
Izuku: that's not a lot to go on
Izumi: but then I noticed how you act! The way you talk to Eri is the same way mom used to baby us as kids
Izuku: Really? I swear-
Izumi: it wasn't on purpose, right?
Izuku: yeah...
There was a pause, Izuku took a deep breath and pulled out a knife pressing it against Izumi's throat while she was against a tree
Izuku: Now what will you do?
Izumi: h-how did you survive? The house exploded with you inside!
Izuku: I blew up the house... Izumi, it was hell living the way I did. I was alone and constantly being hurt... But then I found her
Izumi: who?
Izuku: Ochako, she made me feel like... Like a person! I told her about the first time I killed she didn't care and she still doesn't... If she ever stopped loving me I would never find another partner
Izumi began to tear up again but smiled
Izumi: I'm happy to hear that, you deserve it
Izuku: my turn... Why didn't you do anything? You knew what was happening! You could have helped me! Shit at the very least you could have consoled me!
Izuku was tearing up a bit, firmly grasping the knife
Izumi: I...I was scared
Izuku looked into her eyes and lowered the knife
