A female demon was walking in her flower garden, as the moonlight shined on her face. She reached out towards a flower bud that was yet to bloom and caressed it with her delicate fingers. But her peace was disrupted by the presence of another person.
"Y/N-Sama." a young female demon's voice was heard behind her. "Is there anything wrong Daki?" Daki fidgeted her fingers and finally pumped her courage to ask Y/N. "Y/N-Sama do you perhaps have time to spend with me?" "I don't see why not." Daki's eyes sparkled with joy when she heard the older demon agreeing. "Yay!! Thank you Y/N-Sama!"

"So where are you leading me to sweetheart." Y/N was getting 'dragged' by Daki by hugging her arm. "Actually there's a festival lately at the entertainment district and I want to spend a bit more time with you there and make new memories...Won't you like that??" Daki was giving Y/N those teary puppies eyes. "Alright, alright. Let's go then." But then again, how could Y/N resist those pleading eyes.

Not even a minute later, they have arrived at the bustling streets of the entertainment district. The loud noises caused by people talking or the sellers shouting 'Buy 1 free 1', or welcoming customers to their door. Although it was a bit overwhelming for Y/N, seeing that Daki was happy and excited to spend time with her, made her held the overwhelming feeling together.
Daki actually had 'overheard' from Hantengu that Y/N like desserts quite well. So, you could say that Daki did a few research and observation to find spectacular dessert shops, with the help of her brother of course. Daki managed to find a few and she picked out the one she likes best. Which was a dessert shop that mainly sells cakes. Since Daki had planned this beforehand, she had made a reservation for them in a small private room with a pretty view of the entertainment district.
Daki quickly held Y/N's hand tightly and ran through the sea of people. Y/N was confused but quickly held onto Daki afraid that she might lose her and that she will disappear from her sight. She waited for Daki to stop 'dragging' her, which she did when they reached a nicely decorated store.
The workers escorted them to the private room Daki booked and gave them both a menu each and left giving them their privacy and time to think for the food they wanted. Y/N couldn't help but stare in awe as she looked outside to see the marvelous view of the festival. Where the lanterns shined the brightest with humans walking and chatting, accompanying with laughter.
Y/N snapped out of her thought when she heard Daki talking. "Y/N-Sama!! You should see what you like!! And you do not have to worry about the price. After all, everything is on me!!" Daki gave Y/N a very proud and confident look before looking at the menu to see what she wants.
Y/N's eyes were caught when she saw the monburan cake. She took note on what to order. Daki looked at Y/N, signaling that if she should call the waiters. Y/N gave her a slight nod. Daki called for the private waiters who is supposed to serve them, which they quickly complied by knocking on the sliding door before entering.
(A/N: Monburan cake is a Japanese dessert of a sweetened chestnut purée in the form of vermicelli.)
"Y/N-Sama you should go ahead and order first!!" Daki said cheerfully and continue to read the menu. "Hmm, I would like to have a slice of monburan cake and a plate of wagashi with cups of green tea for two, please." Y/N looked up from her menu and stared at the waiters. "And I would like to have a slice of sakura ice cream cake, and I think that would be all." Daki said while handing both, Y/N and her menu to the waiters. Which the waiters quickly left the room and head towards the kitchen.
Y/N continued to admire the scene. But one specific scene caught her eyes from above. A small child holding onto his mother's hand while the other hand holding onto his father's. "Papa!! Can we go buy a candy apple, pretty please!!" The child looked at the candy apple while drooling. "Alright, alright." The father went to buy the candy apple. When the child received the candy apple, he was very delighted and started to chomp onto the apple. He even offered it to his mother which his mother rejected while using a handkerchief the wipe the child's messy face.
Y/N couldn't help but felt longing. But of course, her longing eyes did not go unnoticed by Daki. Which Daki got curious and to check what she was looking at and to see the small family of 3. Daki couldn't help but thought, 'Was Y/N-Sama missing someone dear to her?' As she stared at the family walking away happily.
The waiters soon arrived with their desserts. The slice of monburan was brought in front of Y/N. She picked up her fork and gently slice of a small piece of cake and put it inside her mouth. The texture of the cake was creamy, sweet and earthy. Just the way she likes it. And the wagashi with the green tea makes everything perfect. Y/N nod in satisfaction and felt happy that the food here was indeed nice.
'I should come here more often...' Y/N gave a thought.
