TL;DR - I'll be posting the FULL Indigo rewrite to my Wattpad, titled 'Indigo's Owl [Indigo Rewrite]'. First 3 chapters are already up!
I first wrote Indigo back in 2012 for my first-ever NaNo. It was my second book and uh, well, to say there were a few things executed rather questionably in it is an understatement.
At some point while trying to edit it, I realised some band-aid edits weren't going to fix the core issues I had with the story, and so in 2021, I rewrote the whole damned thing and retitled it 'Indigo's Owl'.
Now, on my 10th NaNo in 2022, I've been writing the sequel. I'm not ready to go posting that any time soon, but I REALLY wanted to share something with you guys--and so, I decided to post the rewrite to Wattpad in full.
I really hope you decide to jump over and check out the rewrite. It's got the same vibes as this old version of Indigo, the same characters, the same general plot beats--but now, with almost a decade more experience of writing to really get those things to shine. I'm really proud of it, and I'd like the chance to show you just how much I've improved :D
(and yes, there is indeed still turtles and new and improved shifthira >:D)
