Chapter 12***

Chapter 12:

Kat's P.O.V

The drive home from the Police Station was silent. Neither Dad nor I had anything to say. But the silence was uncomfortable, every time I went to go to say something; I shot myself down and didn't say anything. I couldn't tell if Dad was mad at me, I couldn't tell. He had a poker face on, but I did the same so eh.

"Why did you leave?" Dad asked as he hopped out of the car, after pulling into our driveway. Great... now he asks,

"I just... needed some time to think about things and I needed a break from everything, so I left and went to a place just outside of town, and think. Only Felix knew where I was, he kept on checking on me, making sure I was comfortable." Dad nodded,

"I thought those boys did something to you." I gasped and stopped walking whilst glaring at my father,

"Why would you think something like that?! They're my friends! Well, Jake, Felix and Sam are, but still, I can't believe... fuck this. See ya Dad; come find me when common sense decides to hit you on the head." And I quickly ran off down the street to Felix's house, where he was leaving.

"Felix!" I called out, causing his to turn his head and look to me. He stopped walking and smiled at me,

"Hey, I thought you were staying at Jake's for a bit?" I frowned confused,

"How did you know that?" Felix shrugged,

"Jake sent out a mass text to Sam and me telling us that if we needed you, you would be at Jake's." I frowned at Felix's words,

"I was... but I left. It was too awkward and I didn't belong there with him and..." I couldn't say her name. I hurt so much that I couldn't hold in the sob that came from my mouth. Felix looked at me before pulling me close and wrapping his arms around me. I flung my arms around his neck, my knee buckling and giving out below me, causing the arms around Felix and his arms around me were the only thing holding me off of the ground.

"Shit, Katrina are you okay?" I shook my head,

"No... I'm not okay. Jake likes someone else, and my Dad thinks you guys got rid of me. I don't know... I don't want to do anything... I just want to leave. I want to go back... back to the other universe!" Felix gasped and almost dropped me.

"Kat, no you don't. What if the demon decides it wants to go after you this time?" I growled,

"I don't care! It would be doing both worlds a favour!" I pulled away from Felix furious when I felt it... the ground was shaking like that night when I was at Felix's house. I screamed making Felix look at me oddly,

"Kat?! What's the matter?" I looked at him, shock covering my face,

"Can't you feel it?" The ground then shook again which Felix noticed and looked at me,

"Kat... is that you?" I nodded,

"I think so," I screamed out when the ground shook violently and began cracking forcing water to come up in between. And begin to swirl around in the shape of snowflakes which caused me to stop,

"Kat?!" Felix called out then ran over to me. The ground was still shaking and I couldn't control it. Felix grabbed my arms and forced my hands into his,

"Kat you need to look at me," but I couldn't... I couldn't stop looking at the water everywhere when my hands began to feel like they were on fire. I screamed out in pain, when suddenly it was gone, because something else was more important to concentrate on, and that was Felix's lips on mine.
