"Anything For You," Mikey x Reader

Chapter 5~

"You ready?" Mikey asked, keeping me balanced. He decided it would be a good idea to teach me how to skateboard... Yea so far, I've face-planted at least 5 times in one hour. I had gotten the basics down, not in an hour, if that's what you're thinking. It's taken me all morning and half of the day. Anyways, we moved up to the ramps, practicing there. 

     I took a deep breath. "Yup," I started down. So far so good. I said holding on to dear life with my feet. I realized I was already going up now. As soon as I hit the top I landed. On my face. Sorry, I don't really know how skateboarding works...

     "Y/n are you okay!" Mikey yelled, coming towards me. He checked for any major injuries. After giving me yet another ice pack he sat down with me over the edge. "How 'bout we take a break for the day? You've taken enough damage." He suggested gracefully. Wait 'gracefully'? Noo. That's weird! As well as cringy. Stop falling in love with some mutant you just met! 

     I agreed. As we met the others in the kitchen, I grabbed a slice of pizza. What? It's like the only food they eat! When I sat down Leo came up to me and whispered in my ear. "So~ like anyone yet?" I immediately looked up at him. 

     "What?" I blurted. 

     "You know exactly what I mean," he said menacingly, taking a bite of pizza. 

     I blushed. "N-no! It hasn't even been a week since we met!" I quietly exclaimed. 

     "Funny that's where your mind goes, isn't it?" he joked. 

     I rolled my eyes. "Let me eat in peace now please..." 

     He snickered, then walked away...

    Like I promised, I texted my mom almost every chance I got. After I finished my conversation with her, I turned the phone off. 

      Mikey made sure to be with me every time I texted/called her, unless of course I asked to be alone, which was very rare. I looked up at him. "When do you think it's safe enough for me to leave?" I peeped. 

     He thought a moment. "Well, we started patrolling around your apartment for about 2 weeks now. There hadn't been any signs of the Foot. I'll have to discuss to with my brothers, but I think we can get you home by Friday," he promised. 

     I rested my head on his shoulder. "Thank you," I replied quietly. I could feel him looking at me until leaning against me also.

     "Anything for you..." He replied. I smiled. After a while I closed my eyes. We just stayed there.

     "Aweee!! How cute!" I hear someone shout. Almost immediately I opened my eyes to see literally everyone standing by the door. Mikey and I quickly separated. I could tell he was flustered. And so was I. Leo started laughing. Donnie couldn't care less. Raph was smiling, like 'good job lil bro' kind of smile. April was amazed. 

     "W-wha-what are you guys doing here?" I said, trying to act natural. 

     "Called it!" Leo announced. 

     "Dummy, we all did," Donnie scoffed, turning to Leo. 

    They started bickering, which turned into a whole fight between everyone. I turned to Mikey. We started making eye contact. I like this... I thought. Just standing there, with Mikey. The noise was drowned out, I was focused on nothing but his eyes. His features. He somehow got us out of that mess and took me to his room. I've only ever been in here once before, the first night I came here. I sat on his bed, giggling. "That was messy," I said. He nodded. 

    "Okay... Here goes nothing..." Mikey murmured. I looked at him curiously. "So... Well... See the thing is I really like you, Y/n. A lot. And I would totally understand if you don't like me back, I just needed to get that off my chest. I mean- a girl and a turtle, crazy right? But if you really do like me back, I was wondering... if you'd be my girlfriend?" He said really quickly. I could barely understand him. But I did. It was hard to decide what to do: pass out, squeal excitedly, kiss him, simply reply or what. I guess that means I like him back then... I mean- he is perfect on every level. "Y/n...? What do you say?" Mikey questioned weakly. I think I made my decision. 

    I smiled, getting off his bed. Which, by the way, made him redder than Raph's bandana. I came up close to his face, trying to bring up fake confidence. "I think I'd love to," I replied softly. His eyes glowed bright, widening. 

    "Really?" he asked excitedly. I nodded, not really knowing what to do next. Hesitating, he blurted "Can I pick you up?" My eyed widened, my cheeks burned, my legs became jelly. 

     I stuttered, which Mikey apparently found funny. "I- sure-" I squeaked. 

     He made a cute little excited squeal thing then picked me up bridal style. Mixed emotions. Mixed emotions indeed.  He started carrying me out of his room. "What are you doing??" I muttered. 

     Mikey smiled. "You'll see..." He took me to the garage, where he magically got us on top of the Turtle Tank. "Guys! I have an announcement to make!" he shouted. Slowly, everyone started submerging around us. They started murmuring and giggling. Mikey looked at me sweetly. "Me and Y/n are officially dating!" He announced happily. He set me down, side-hugging me. *Cringe clapping enabled* 

     "You're mine now- right?" Mikey asked innocently once we got back to his room. 

     I jumped into his arms, feeling the best I've ever felt in quite a while. "Of course..." 

     "Do you wanna cuddle?" Mikey asked shyly. 

     I tried covering my excitement by acting like I was thinking about it. "I mean I guess," I said exasperatedly. He excitedly went towards his bed, inviting me. 

     I wrapped my arms and legs around him, digging my face into his neck. He placed his head on mine, making me feel secure. I couldn't be happier. I thought.
