My Love For You Was Bulletproof (SEQUEL TO LEAVING HOME)

Chapter 2

It was Friday morning and Caleb was rushing around trying to get all of his stuff together "Come on Caleb!" I shouted to him from the living room. I had been organised and packed the night before and made sure it was in the car. Eventually we were on the road to the coach station "So I'll see you in the new year then" I said grumply trying to make out that I was upset he was leaving me to go see friends instead "I'm sorry babe, but you'll have fun at your Mum's right?" I nodded indicating that I would "I love you" he said I gave him a kiss. "I'll call you when I get there" I gave him another hug and watched him as he made his way to the seats inside. I bit my lip starting to get excited about my trip as I pulled out onto the road again and headed for the airport. I felt bad for going but I should be allowed to do what I want, well to a certain extent if he was allowed to see his friends I was allowed to see mine. 

I parked my car up in one of the car parks and went in to pick up my tickets from the desk "Your flight leaves in about an hour and a half" I thanked her and took my tickets and went through security checks before buying a few bits for the flight, as it was going to be a pretty long journey. I was so fidgety from excitement I couldn't keep still I kept going in and out of all the duty free shops and spraying all of the perfumes they had on sale.In the end I decided to ring Lexus to tell her I would be in the US and whether she wanted to meet up. "Hey Lex"

"Deven! It's been ages how are you doing?" I laughed

"I'm doing good, I just wanted to call and let you know I'll be in the US in a few hours for a while and wondered if you wanted to meet up?"

"Sure, are you here for new year then?" 

"I am spending it with Jacky and that lot, so I'm really looking forward to it, haven't seen any of you in over a year" I heard her chuckle

"They wouldn't mind me joining would they?" I smiled

"I don't think they would mind, you should come we are staying in New York that night and you can bring Nick!" I heard her grunt

"I'm not with Nick anymore, I'm single!" I wasn't too surprised I mean they did rush into it 

"Aw I'm sorry Lexus" she blew me off "Anyway I'd better go get my flight so I'll ring you to discuss stuff" I said goodbye and went over to the queue at the gate. 

When the plane touched down I was so stoked! I had a message from Caleb saying he was in London now and that he loved me I replied quickly saying my phone was off because I was out shopping with my Mum before slipping it into my pocket and going to the bathrooms in the airport I re did my make up in the mirror before leaving to go find Jacky, I rang him "Deven, you here?" 

"Yes I am where are you?" I asked

"I'm in the Starbucks near the entrance with Ryan" I put the phone in my pocket and grabbed my suitcase before walking over to the entrance I saw them both sat with Coffee I waved and ran over to them grabbing Jacky in a hug and then hugging Ryan "HEY!" I shouted at them I don't think I have smiled this much since the last time I was here. "Everyone is looking forward to seeing you y'know Dev" I chuckled

"Aww really?" I looked at Jacky "Your hair! When did you dye it Blonde!" he started messing with it

"Not too long ago, I did it ready for warped this past Summer, thought I'd bring a bit of you to America with your Blonde hair" I laughed 

"Aww that's cheesy!" I replied "You don't mind me staying do you? because I can go stay in a mo-"

"No, no Dev we wanted you to come!" I smiled at them and followed them as they got up to go to the car "Here let me take your case" Jacky took the case from my grasp and wheeled it a long next to me "I invited Lexus on new year, I hope that's okay? I mean I haven't seen her in so long!" Jacky looked to Ryan
