Chapter 3

Finally Jacky came back and said we could go I grabbed his hand and whispered into his ear "Can we please go out drinking tonight?" He gave me a warning look and I rolled my eyes and bit down on my lip "But Jacky he doesn't even have to know" knowing he was worried incase Ronnie found out and got mad. "No we can talk later I'm not getting involved" I linked arms with Jacky as we made our way outside to Ronnie's car "We aren't all going to fit into this car are we?" I asked Jacky as he climbed into the back  "Ron's not coming he's with his girlfriend" I sat in the car next to Jacky and he began asking me questions about Caleb "So where'd you two meet?"

"Erm at some event I got invited to" It was obvious I didn't want to talk about this "Anyway he's not even my boyfriend anymore"

"I'm sure you will work things out" he said nudging me 

"No I'm fed up of his shit, he shouldn't be able to control me like he does Jacky"

"She's got a point man!" Derek butted in, but at least he was on my side I smiled at him and after letting that out I felt a lot better. I looked in the wing mirror at Ronnie who's eyes were glued to the road. He hadn't said anything at all to me all day and I was starting to feel uncomfortable. We pulled up at the chinese restaurant and I followed the guys out of the car and to the door. The waiter seated us and asked what drinks we would like. I was really tempted to ask for an alcoholic drink but asked for a coke instead so not to upset Ronnie anymore than he already seemed. When he got to Ronnie he ordered his drink but then he asked for another. "Is Ally coming then?" Ryan asked him "Yeah, she will be here soon" I presumed this girl was his girlfriend that was going to be joining us shortly. I grabbed my phone from my bag and sneakily texted Lexus asking if she was in LA. Before Ronnie's girl came in, she wasn't as good looking as I thought she would be and she seemed really clingy "Hi guy's" she beamed at them all and then laid eyes on me sat in between Jacky and Ryan "Hey" she said smiling at me 

"Er hi" I replied before she sat down and nudged Ronnie 

"Yeah this is Deven" he said his face dropping slightly her's also looking a little pale. I looked away feeling uncomfortable and confused. my phone started ringing which I was thankful for "Excuse me" I said as I grabbed my bag and left the table to go to the restrooms "Hello"

"Hey I'm in Vegas, why?" 

"Can you please come and save me from this place, and can we meet tonight?" Lexus laughed

"Well I'm out at the minute but I will come get you in a bit" I grunted

"Okay well, I'll call you when I'm finished up at this shitty restaurant" I put the phone back into my bag and went back to the table. They were all talking now so it felt a little bit more welcoming "Are you okay?" Jacky asked as I sat down 

"Er yeah fine, I'm going out with Lexus later I hope that's okay?" Jacky threw his hands up saying he didn't care and then our food arrived I ate in silence trying not to look up at Ronnie or his girlfriend. I was thankful when we were able to leave 

We all got into the car and waited for Ronnie whilst he said goodbye to his girlfriend. Ronnie got into the car and I leant on Jacky's shoulder We dropped Derek off and then Ronnie dropped the rest of us off "Thanks Ronnie" I said giving him a weak smile he smiled slightly back before I closed the door and followed Ryan and Jacky into the flat "So you're going out now right?"

"Yeah" I said as I went to go back outside to wait for Lexus. When she got here we drove straight back to her's "I'm not going out tonight so we are going back to mine to catch up I have wine!" 

"Thank god! Ronnie's band mates don't drink just like him so they were all iffy on taking me out tonight" 

"You're welcome" she said Lexus lived pretty far from where I was staying with Jacky and Ryan but that didn't bother me I'd rather be drunk here than there where I would probably get told off, with Lexus I could just go crazy and have a good time and not worry about anything.
