My Love For You Was Bulletproof (SEQUEL TO LEAVING HOME)

Chapter 22

I was no longer allowed to sleep in Jacky's bed so Ryan had offered me his which I took for at least the next few nights. I was sat in the living area by myself whilst the guys went to do their set. Jacky was really angry with me so we weren't talking and Derek just wasn't being himself recently and that was obviously to do with his recent break up with Kat. I decided to go out and socialise, maybe try and make some new friends I texted Danny to see where he was at but he didn't respond. I grabbed my purse and headed over to the bar where I saw a band I wasn't really thrilled to speak with "Deven, what brings you to warped tour?" Michael asked me I groaned as I turned to look at him "I'm with FIR" I stated simply before he came and sat next to me and ordering me a drink 

"Still hanging around those guys are we?" I nodded and thanked the barman as he handed me my drink. I took a sip before feeling a hand on my waist I turned to see Aaron the guy I had slept with last December "Hey sweetness, Ronnie around?" I rolled my eyes

"Aaron, I'm sorry about Ronnie at the time he was just really overprotective of me" 

"Well you were dating?" he questioned me I laughed

"No not at that time we weren't" Aaron groaned

"That jerk told me you were" I turned to him 

"Really?" he nodded and I chuckled slightly before turning back to Michael "Where are the rest of your band?" Michael shrugged 

"Who knows" I smiled before finishing off my drink "Why aren't you watching FIR's set?" 

"Because they are doing my head in at the minute" I stated before ordering another drink 

"Well you're welcome to stay on our bus?" I smiled to myself before turning to Michael 

"You know what? That would be great let me go grab my case" I said before stepping from the seat.

When I got to the bus no one was there apart from Ronnie whom I ignored as I went into Ryan's bunk and stuffed all of my stuff into my suitcase "Where are you going?" Ronnie asked me as he stood next to me watching. "I'm not welcome here anymore so I'm moving buses" He grabbed me and turned me around, grabbing my hand "Where's the ring?" he asked me checking my fingers I thought for a second before going over to the sofa and taking all of the cushions off before I found it and showed it to him "It's here" Ronnie sighed as I handed it to him 

"This ring was my Mother's, it was the only thing she left me, I'm taking it back" He said before stuffing it in his back pocket. I grabed my suitcase off of the bunk and Ronnie pulled me over to him before kissing me, I squirmed away "Ronnie, what are you doing? We promised Ryan!" I shouted disgusted, I turned away again and started to storm off before he grabbed me again and pinned me to the wall kissing me roughly against the bunks I pushed him off again before exiting "Wait! Deven, where are you staying?" I turned to him 

"With Vampires Everywhere!" I replied 

"You don't want to do that? You're always welcome here and you know that" I laughed hysterically 

"Welcome? No I'm not Ronnie" I said before turning back around and walking back over to where Michael and Aaron were.

It was the last day of warped tour and I was still living on VE's bus. I'd had a hell of a lot of fun with these guys, the bus was never quiet there was always something going on, parties every single night and it felt realy good to finally be able to do whatever I felt like. I hadn't seen or heard from the guy's back in FIR in a long time. I'd see them around but none of them seemed to want to speak to me, I wasn't upset as such but it bugged me a bit. I was stood backstage with the guys before they went on stage I wished them luck as they entered the stage one by one, Michael stuck his tongue out at me before he ran on stage and started to sing I can't breahe. When they finished their set Michael came over and slung his arm around my shoulder "How about a party?" I nodded entusiastically as we all walked over to the BBQ where pretty much all of the bands hung out at the end of the day. We hadn't been here in a while so thought it would be a good idea to go say goodbye to everyone as it was the last day. I grabbed the ketchup from the table to put on my burger but someone else grabbed it at the same time I looked up to see Jacky I smiled at him as he took the bottle completley ignoring my exictance "Are you not going to say hello?" I questioned he just ignored me obviously still upset with me from months ago I rolled my eyes and picked up the ketchup before walking back over to Michael and Phillip. I looked up into the direction that Jacky had gone in and saw that Kat was with them and back with Derek. I groaned loudly "What's up?" 

"Nothing, I don't know where I'm going to go after this" I said looking up at Michael "It's not like they want me back" I said refering to FIR 

"Come stay with us in California" I sort of wanted to but felt like I would be a burden

"Maybe for a couple of days until I sort somewhere else out?" Michael nodded and we headed back to the bus to party. When we got on the bus we were quickly on the move again towards the nearest airport, luckily I would be flying with Michael and the guys when we arrived. Michael grabbed all of the alcohol from the worktop and placed it in the centre of the table "This all has to go" he announced before grabbing as many glasses as he could from the cuboards. I sat down nex to DJ and Michael squeezed in next to me "Let's play I have never" I smiled as Phillip began to pour shots into the tiny shot glasses, he handed us all one "I have never, drank alcohol before" We all downed the shot and Phillip poured us all another. This went on for what felt like hours and we had already gone through a bottle of Vodka. I was out of it once again, just like every night of this tour since I moved onto this bus. I leant on Michael's shoulder and fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning with the worlds worst hangover. Michael was next to me snoring lightly in his sleep. I looked up at him from his lap and then sat up feeling extremely dizzy. The place was trashed and I had to laugh at Aaron as I saw him passed out outside of the bathroom door. I stepped over him but tripped landing on top of Aaron, he yelped out and I burst into fits of laughter "Aaron I'm sorry I'm so dizzy" I said as I stood up helping him to his feet too 

"Man how much did we drink last night?" I looked over to the table seeing many empty bottles lying across it. I went into the bathroom and splashed my face with water before going outside to get some fresh air, I sat on the steps and saw that we were in the airport carpark and all of the busses were parked directly in front, behind and next to each other. It made me feel extremely clostrephobic and it didn't really make my stomach feel any better. I looked across to see Fallig In Reverse's bus and the guy's all stood outside of it talking with Pierce The Veil. My stomach gurgled loudly and I emptied the contents of it all over the floor in front of me. I wiped my mouth and looked up and saw Ronnie looking over at me with a sad look on his face, Jacky put his hand in front of Ronnie's face to get him out of his trance before Jacky looked over at me himself. A sudden realisation hit me that I probably looked a mess and had gone back to the wildchild I really was. I went to stand up before Michael grabbed me from the doorway and took me inside. "Drink water we have a flight to get in a couple of hours" I took the glass from Michael's hand and sat still for a while until I started to feel a little better.
