13. Chapter (trip and travel)

Place: Y/N's house
Time: Evening

Wait No-

Did I really love him?

I mean

I don't know

* Forgets how to breath *

'cough cough-'

"You're okay?" He asked

"Yeah, I choked"

"So seriously is there anything you actually came for?" I asked him after few hours of us playing video games and talking, mostly stalking people from our college and knowing the people I met at the 'decent event' few weeks back

"Uh- I'll be leaving for this business trip the next day so I thought to visit you?"

"Oh"

It hurts?

But why

" Where and for how long?"

"______ atleast for two weeks, I don't know it might take more time than that but they said that if things don't work out easily it can take a month"

"Dude that's a long time"
"Which brings me here to you" he smiled softly

There's a inner urge to stop him.
I met him after a long long time. And how come just after 2 months of interaction I can't let him go for 2 weeks.

" Can I come too?"

He looked at me with wide eyes like he was surprised and a smirk appeared on his face. And the childish look on his eyes could tell that he liked the idea.

" Seriously?"

"Yeah" I said as I felt confident with my decision

" What about your work ?" He asked after a moment

"Don't worry about that" I said assuring him

"What about your-"

"You want me to come or not?" I cut him before he could complete his question

" I'd love to have you by my side "
He smiled along with his eyes

"So when are we going to leave?"

"Tonight 4:00 am we have to reach the air port" he said nonchalantly

I looked at the watch it was already 7 pm.

Okay

WAIT

"I have to PACK QUICKK" I Panicked
"We have time till" we have time he tried to calm me but I was in no matter to calm
"It's just two weeks"
"You said it could be a month as well"
I moved past by him and started packing stuff

"You'll stay the night here then?" I asked as I was almost done packing
"Yeah staying here sounds better" He said

"You want dinner?"
"Yeah that would be great I am seriously hungry-"
"Great you can go make it" I chuckled when he pouted and actually went to prepare the dinner

~at the dinner~
"I've booked your tickets" he said just as he sat down to have dinner
I nodded and felt that it's been a time that I traveled

"Damn the food tastes great chef's kiss" his cooking skills were commendable.
"I cook great and there are very few people who does have the opportunity to taste my cooked food" he said with pride.
I chuckled as he bragged about his cooking skills.
"I've kept the suitcases in my car" He said reminding me
"Mhm" I nodded "And so you're going to take which bedroom?" I asked and hoped that he would choose the guest bedroom because I don't want to change my place to sleep but we should be nice to our guests right?

"I'll take the guest one"
"Great"

As I was doing the dishes I could hear the sounds from the television which seemed like a sport channel. But as I was done and visited the hall using the towel to rub my wet hands I noticed the match was delayed due to rain. What was this kid watching then?
I slowly walked without making any sounds to see  an adorable figure sleeping while watching the TV.

"Such a kid" I whispered to myself and a gentle smile crept on my face.
Covering him with a blanket and making him comfortable by placing a pillow by his side I decided to sleep on the couch itself.

~1:30 am~
I heard the alarm ringing ofcourse my sleep was not completed. Waking up with the annoying sound of the alarm is the worst feeling ever. But however I can't snooze because it'll cost me to miss the flight.
I dressed up in the most casual and comfortable and yet decent enough to wear them out clothes because one is going to sleep in the flight as well.

Neither me or him talked much as he was driving to the airport because both of us or maybe just me was barely able to open eyes.
It was a windy as he lowered down the window. I have always found late night drives in the highway aesthetic but experiencing them is much more beautiful. It was just like the late night dinner we went out for.

"If I were driving alone it'd have been scary " he said
I just left out a small chuckle.
"I think we're almost there" I asked referring to the airport and he just nodded to a yes.

God, I can't believe I am traveling with him
