"What?"

"Oh hey Rose!" I hear Andrew say over the phone

I look to Tyler who did not look at me once, his gaze was fixed on the screen. Completely blank.

I try to snatch the phone away but he lifts it up higher so I can't get it.

Wow using my height to get his way.

How pathetic.

He lifts an eyebrow at seeing my face, I don't know what was wrong with my face but there was something definitely wrong.

"What is it now?" I sigh

"You have a cute pout" he points out and puts the phone to his ear and walks out before I even get a chance to say another word.

I run after him as he was hanging up the phone "You didn't tell me it was your Birthday" I say

"It doesn't matter I don't celebrate my birthday anyway" his back was still turned

"Would you at least look at me when i talk to you?" I roll my eyes and he turns round

"I'm looking at you now what?"

"I'm sorry your birthday kinda sucked" I say

"On the contrary, it wasn't too bad. I was getting bored" once again he turns to leave "You're feeling ok now?" he asks and I nod as he opens the door

"Happy Birthday Blake" I say just as he walks out

"Thanks" with that he leaves, shutting the door on his way out.

With all that's been happening I hadn't even noticed Raven has been listening in to our entire conversation.

Where's Daisy?

"Did he say his birthday was today? As in the second of June?" Raven asks

"Talking to me now I see. That's improvement"

"You didn't answer my question" she points out

"Why do you wanna know?" I narrow my eyes

"No reason" she says a bit too quickly

Sketchy...

I feel a wave of sickness pass through me. I weakly move over to my bed and rest my head on my pillow.
A jolt of pain travels up my arm again.

I groan.

Tyler had distracted me from the real problem.

I look down at my arm

It's throbbing

"Hey where's Daisy?"

"She went to get Maya. She'll be here. Also you should probably put a compression bandage on that." She paused when she sees my confused face "to reduce the swelling" she adds

"Thanks, I can handle injuries though" I say through my teeth.

"Just rest and put something cold on it for a while." she says while opening a book

"You seem to know a lot about this" I say clutching my arm

She shrugs and reaches for something under her bed.

"You keep a first aid kit under your bed? Seriously?" I raise an eyebrow

"I've always kept one for as long as I can remember. My mother gave it to me and my brother taught me how to use it"

"That's strange. But helpful I guess" I say through a smile

"Can I have an ice pack" I ask

She throws it and I catch it with my arm that isn't in excruciating pain.
