"No that's not possible" I shake my head, still not believing what I'm seeing

"Oh it is" Alyssa says with a smirk pointing at something in the background

Two kids.

"Fucking hell" Tyler breathes out

"Wait, is that us?" my eyes widen

It was like I was experiencing a moment from my dream, but this time it was real. I was seeing it right now.

I recognised the old swing set immediately...

And little Tyler, who's eyes were puffy and blood-shot as he looked down at the floor.

I was there too.

Well past me?

I was next to him, listening to him as he talked.

Listening in pure understanding.

As the memory played out in front of me, I couldn't help but look to Tyler. I was almost taken aback by the clear display of emotion written all over his face.

He wasn't ever like this.

His eyes were burning with fury as he watched the scene in front of him.

He clearly didn't want to be reminded of this.

I could see the pain and sadness, as well as immense confusion etched on his face as he watched the memory play out.

I stood there frozen in place as I watched the scene unfold. It was like I was a spectator in my own memory, reliving a moment of my past.

How was this even possible?

I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt as I watched Tyler. How difficult it must be for him to be reminded of such a painful part of his past. I just wish I could do something to ease the pain, but instead I just stood there.

Stood there helplessly, watching in utter shock as the memory continued to play out.

Until he tore his gaze from the past and looked at there three people in front of us.

Both Raven and I stood there in silence.

Raven more confused than me.

At why he was so angry.

"Where the hell are the weapons so we can get this over with?" he says in a demanding tone

Not even caring how they know about the memory and how they did this in the first place.

"Don't you want to finish the whole scene" Nate says directing it at me

I knew what he meant the second he said it.

I quickly realised the memory continued on.

To the point young Tyler and I were playing and running round.

This memory  doesn't end well.

"Less talking more fighting" I say seeing the weapons out out for us on the park floor

I make sure to avoid the daggers.

Instead I pick the sword.

Picking it up, I felt the familiar feeling of the metal against my skin.

It felt good.

Tyler also picked up a sword, but I watched as he hid some daggers in his back pocket as well.

"Raven, remember what I told you?" I ask her as I watch as she towers over the weapons. Wondering which one to pick "About attack and defence?"
