Our heads rested on each other after we stopped kissing , with his hitching breath hitting my face

" i ...love you ..too " i hissed and he smiled as he hugged me , shoving his face onto my neck

We pulled away and gazed at one and another passionately

Seeing him here with me, trying to catch up on me before i go to the airport, and confessing his feelings to me was more than i asked for

" wait , what about Celine ?" I asked and he narrowed his eyes ;" who's Celine ?" He asked and i hit his chest as we both laughed ; " c'mon you know who i mean " I insisted on answer , as much as i wanted to be with him , I wasn't gonna be part of a threesome

" I already broke up with her the day you left " he stated and i stared at him in surprise , the day i left ?

" oh my god .." i murmured and he looked at me confused ; " what is it now ?" He asked

" i .. have to call my dad.. and tell him that i didn't go ... and the principle too " i muttered and he put his hands on my shoulders

" calm down , everything's gonna be fine " he grinned against my face ; " we're together now , that's what matters " he added and i smiled at him ; " you're right"

He grabbed my bag and put it in the car before we both got in and drove away

We arrived to my house and we stayed in the car for a bit long , talking

" what are you gonna tell him ? " Chase asked ;
" I don't know , the truth " i sighed

" And what truth would that be ?" He asked with a smirk and i glared at him ; " don't , or i will come up with a lie " i warned and he laughed

" oh no you won't" he said and i glanced at him narrowing my eyebrows; " you wanna try me ?"

" Because if you do i will go to your father myself and tell him about us " he stated and i gasped , he grinned

" Fine fine , I'll tell him myself, i don't like lying anyway" I told him ; " good girl " he hissed and i blushed

Did he just call me a good girl ? Perv much ?

" Anyway , i should probably go " i said ; " a lot to deal with " i added , he grabbed my hand and planted a kiss on it

" wait , give me your phone " he said and i looked at him confused ; " why?" I asked; " just do it " he insisted and i did

He grabbed both my phone and his , i leaned closer to see what was he doing , he was registering my number in my contacts , after that he gave me back my phone ; " to stay in touch" he stated and i smiled

" hey look , your father's here" he said and i quickly turned to see him , panicking, but he wasn't there , i got confused so i turned to face Chase again but he surprised me with a sudden kiss on my mouth

We pulled away and he winked at me , i blushed too mush , i said goodbye before getting out of the car and grabbing my bag from the trunk ;
" hey you need a hand ?" He asked but i refused

" No No ! Just go ! Talk to you later " i said and he laughed as i walked fast to my house

My dad was not home when i came back , i unpacked my bag and put things back in their places , i sat on my bed thinking about what i would say to my father

How will i tell him that i gave up my life chance over a man , who's probably the love of my life ?

While i was on my bed , my phone ranged and i picked it up to see who was it , Chase , eekh

" Hello " i answered; " Hey" the voice said , Chase , i knew it was him

" hey" i replied ; " how are you ?" He asked
" i was with you half hour ago " i mocked him and he laughed " i know "

" what did your dad say?" He asked and i paused
" he's not back yet" i said

" Look , if you want me to be with you when you tell him-" he suggested right before i cut him

" No , i need to do this alone " i insisted on doing this on my own

As we were talking , i heard the door downstairs being opened; " Chase , my dad's back i'll call you later " i hung up on Chase and prepared myself to go face my dad , i took a deep breath before going down

When my father spotted me coming down he was shocked to see me ; " Eda , what are you still doing here , did you miss the plane?" He asked , I didn't answer, instead i held his hands and gestured him to sit with me on the couch

" I'm not going to England " i told him after a not so long silence

" what ? Why?" He questioned again , confused

" things ... are complicated " i stated and his eyebrows narrowed at me

He gazed at me for a while before looking down
" is this about that guy Chase ? " he asked sternly , i bit my lip and looked down , avoiding eye contact

Did he just figure it out?

I literally just answered him with the look on my face

He sighed before leaning on the couch , suddenly he chuckled , i looked at him confused, did he just laugh ?

" aaaaaah, love , and what it does to us " he spoke frequently, he didn't look mad ; " so that's how my mother felt back then " he mumbled under his breath but i was able to hear him

" your mother, grandmother you mean ?" I asked and he nodded; " i did the same thing to be with your mother , my mother told she'll be sending me to France to study , but i refused, all because i fell in love " he stated looking at my mother's picture that was hanging on the wall

Study in France , that would've been something , maybe better than working in a bank

" I didn't regret it though " he added , taking a glimpse of me , and i was stunned

" she was everything i wanted , i loved her more than anything, what is France compared to the woman i loved " he expressed with teary eyes

" do you think , this guy ... Chase , is worth it?" He asked and i stared at him before answering

If only he knew about the kidnapping

I briefly smiled at him before nodding , he sighed again as he laughed , he rubbed my head and kissed my forehead

"Whatever makes you happy sweetheart " he muttered and i hugged him ; " thank you dad"
