Ainz casted the death strengthening spell and followed it up with another attack.

"[widen magic: Despair Aura]"

The black mist spread across the land like a disease, and in the span of twelve seconds it became heavier and denser with every passing moment before finally inflicting it's curse upon the land.

"It's over."

Unlike the last time this spell was used, it wasn't bright light that emphasized the end, but rather complete darkness.

In the radius of 200 meters from where ainz stood, certain death struck in the form of complete darkness.
In contrast to the bright day, it was as if night befell that single spot.
As if a dark shadow casted it's hands over the land and obstructed everyone from seeing its work.

And when that dark shadow finally lifted its hands...

Whoosh

The black mist dissipated, and all remained intact.

As if an invisible wind had blew away these illusions, it was as if the spell had never even be casted.

Ainz stood there on silent shock.

"What is the meaning of this..."

"...I seemed to have made the right call."

As ainz ooal gown looked at his opponent, he finally had an idea of what had just occurred.

"So that's it huh?"

"...your wild magic."

The dragonlord once again stood tall, only this time he had a bright glowing halo floating just above his head. His eyes too were bright with a comparable glow. And his scales became forceful sharper, like prickly knives.

Also, did he double in size..?

"You know of the dragon race specialize magic despite it being knowledge long lost to history..
Though if it's you, I'm not surprised."

The dragonlord's voiced boomed as he glared down the magic caster.

"No need for flattery, my knowledge of it isn't much."

Ainz glared back.

Wild magic.

The magic only known to certain dragonlords that dominated the world long before the introduction of tier-magic.

Not a lot is known about it, but nazarick managed to learn some things about it.

For one, as someone who uses tier-magic. Wild magic is something that could potentially be seen as a counter.
The biggest difference between the two is that unlike tier-magic..

Wild magic does not have a hierarchy.

For instance, with tier magic, it is a given that a tier 10 fireball will always be superior to a tier 4 fireball.
Such is the hierarchy enforced on it.

Wild magic on the other hand has no such restrictions.
There is no definite "this" is stronger than "this".
One can and more than always is, surpassing the other in an everlasting clash.
