Throughout the entirety of summer, thoughts of Juliet plagued his mind.
She hadn't written him back.
Soon his letters of concern transformed into letters of desperation.
One in particular consisting purely of the words:
"Please don't leave me."
Three words, ten letters, and yet they echoed throughout his ears, fuelling his insomnia. She wouldn't, would she?
He could only hope that wherever she was, she was okay.
