𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 (𝗦𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗥). theresa desdemona pond was born in astoria, new york to richard and catherine pond. growing up with her mom and dad, two brothers, one sister, and many aunts and uncles. there was never a time she wasn't around her family. growing up she was taught that family is most important. when she was old enough she even worked in her family's diner 'anatola'. but out of all of her family she was the closest to her father, her father even wanted her to take over one day. Like he had when he married her mom. but when growing up, she had always been an imaginative one. she dreamed of more.
at 10, she was with her grandmother, francis, when she discovered classic films. she found herself into the finer things in life and falling in love with classic cinematography. such as audrey hepburn, bette davis, and lauren becall. she has a simpler yet classier style than those around her. she is often seen wearing vintage clothing. tess likes old-world fashion and is very contemporary in what she wears and how she presents herself. a beacon of classical taste, her perfect manners. she doesn't follow trends, she creates them. she's seen as different from her family.
her family didn't get her film obsession. always telling her she needed to "fix her priorities". what really means is she needs to focus more on the diner. but making short films, and creating scripts and stories were everything to her. you could definitely call her a cinephile. she watches the world through a camera lens. even though it would disappoint her family, she decided on attending film school. after secretly sending in a short film audition. very upset her father refused to help her telling her she would have to figure it out on her own. so she left home and never went back. she got a student loan and is studying directors craft, cinematography, and screenwriting. getting an apartment with her best friend luna. three others named natalia, aria, and james in malibu, california. she's currently an influencer with a large social media presence. she also works part time as a social media pr person for many movies.
