𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗬 (𝗦𝗢 𝗙𝗔𝗥). luna hernández was born in tucson, arizona where she grew up for a while with her parents and older sister. her parents coming to arizona from mexico just a few months before she was born with her sister and her fathers sister. luna's family was very dependent on each other. even though her family struggled, her parents made sure she and her sister had a good childhood. though they never lived in the safest neighborhoods or had a lot of money. they were happy... well happy as a family could be. to her everything was perfect. that is until one day she, her sister, and her aunt were at the mall and when they got home it was like her parents disappeared. they asked around the neighborhood but they got nothing. then they get a call from her parents saying they were being deported.
her aunt then decided they needed to have the hard conversation on how her family moved here. and how technically her aunt and her sister, florencia, were technically "illegal" immigrants. from then on, luna's world changed. knowing there was no way to help her parents without her aunt, esperanza, and her sister, florencia, getting deported. the remainder of her family from state to state, until they settled in california. at fifteen, she was at the mall and was recruited by a modeling agency. her aunt was hesitant at first, not thinking it would go anywhere. but that small modeling gig led to a modeling career. at 16, she got an agent and began modeling for small brands. what was left of her small family moved to new york so she could pursue her modeling career. she now lives in manhattan and does runway.
